Bruce Pearl is surprisingly political and vocal on Twitter

I had no idea about his politics until I followed him on Twitter. He regularly posts Republican and pro-Israel content (he's Jewish). Kind of surprised that a coach at a public college is able to express his views so openly!

Auburn is the most conservative university in the conference and it’s not even close.
Obviously Bruce is going to be Pro-Israel

One trip to Auburn and you'll likely understand why no one cares, lol. Its gotta be in the top 3% of pro right wing schools in the country.

Definitely most conservative in conference.
I love it and say embrace it.
Thousands of other left wing schools out there you can send you kids to get an education in victim hood and transgender studies.
Have talked with Dozen of parents that have sent there kids to AU because they don’t want there kids coming back with purple hair and hating their parents 4 years later.
Great differentiator and selling point for Auburn

THE AUBURN CREED
I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.
I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.
I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.
I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.
I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.
I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.
I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."
And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.

Yeah, LSU has come out as pretty damn leftist over the past few years. I did not expect that.
Hard to overcome demographics and shite politicians.

Good for him and Auburn, I wish more conservatives would take a stand.

That, along with the fact the NY Times published a study showing Auburn had the lowest % of Pell Grant students of any public school in the US. Of course, the NYT portrayed this as some massive negative. However, the real meaning is Auburn seems less concerned about meeting arbitrary DEI quotas and accepting students who likely shouldn't be admitted in the first place relative to other public schools.

Exactly
Like i said literally 1000s of colleges out there that adhere to DEI quotas….go to one of those schools if that is so important in your “education” decision
Auburn thank goodness has seen that is not a path to true education.

I didn’t know that about Auburn. Pretty cool.
We have been to a couple of Clemson football games, and I got more of a conservative vibe. Then again, Clemson really “feels” similar to Auburn
