I had no idea about his politics until I followed him on Twitter. He regularly posts Republican and pro-Israel content (he's Jewish). Kind of surprised that a coach at a public college is able to express his views so openly!
...and we Auburn folks love him.
A couple of years ago, he took the team to play basketball all over Israel. As part of the trip, they visited all of the Jewish AND Christian landmarks of the area. He very much supports them and their Judio/Christian faith.
Haven't heard if he had a Muslim player on his team before; he might support them in their faith also...as long as they leave the explosive vests back with their parents.

We'll roll out the prayer rugs if he can shoot 40% from 3

One trip to Auburn and you'll likely understand why no one cares, lol. Its gotta be in the top 3% of pro right wing schools in the country.
There is a cool video from a few years back where some folks tried protesting while wearing masks. The police told them to remove their facecovering, something that became illegal in the State of Alabma in the 60s, but they refused to remove them. The police then "helped" them to be removed.
The "on-lookers" were pretty active students also.

Auburn is the most conservative university in the conference and it’s not even close.
Obviously Bruce is going to be Pro-Israel
He claims Auburn and would never accept hearing that Auburn is a conservative institution

What is the most liberal school? Georgia?
Athens fancies itself a Southern Berkeley, so, yeah, Left. This is the town/school that spawned REM.

Maybe Texas now that it is in the SEC.
Austin is so-Left, its like anti-matter amongst matter in Texas. Austin is the Anti-Texas.

Mizzou has some bozo professors, not sure about the students.
Both students and profs lost their damn minds during the George Floyd riots.
Of the three, id have to pick Austin, though Nashville is turning hipster so fast that it may overtake Athens for second place.

As much as he cheats, I'm surprised he's not an actual politician.

It was the home (and still works with) The Ludwig von Mises Institute for Austrian Economics, which is a conservative branch of economic theory.

That was when Mike Pienovich spoke at Auburn, and Antifa showed up to start shite. State Troopers blocked them (“No Masks, No Hoodies”) until they removed their gear, some by seizing and binding them until they complied. Antifa was shocked. They'd never been on a campus where police wouldn’t let them get away with their bullshite before.
