And many on the PT long for the days when the courts start that process here

there are a lot of parts of the Old Testament that western society has chosen to move past.
yeah bc Christ himself led the way on that, first with his teaching and then by completing the old testament/old covenant.

The irony is, that British court and the entire body of the laws it is supposed to apply would not exist without its Judeo-Christian background.

Is this the same Britain that's capitulating to Muslims? Are THEIR views incompatible with human dignity?

Those powdered wig frickers are going to learn a hard lesson when the goatfrickers give them a lesson on human dignity in about 20 years

The Bible isn't a list of rules to follow. It is a story of God's people. A lot of the Old Testament do's and do not's dealt with surviving in the desert. The previous posters are correct in that Jesus freed us from these laws.

One of those Sharia courts they have over there now?

It also showed that no one person could follow all those rules and showed the need for a savior.

Ironic since human dignity comes from the Bible’s teaching on humans being created in God’s image. If you remove God, humans have no inherent dignity as we are nothing more than more evolved germs.

I get what you're saying but you should. A LOT of crap starts there and makes it across the pond to us.

Sandra Day O'Connor, before her retirement:
"I suspect that with time we will rely increasingly on international and foreign law in resolving what now appear to be domestic issues. Doing so may not only enrich our own country's decisions; it will create that all-important good impression. When U.S. courts are seen to be cognizant of other judicial systems, our ability to act as a rule-of-law model for other nations will be enhanced."

So. Basically, the British apparently plan to revert to having a national religion. They just are working around it by not calling it a religion.

That is a scary quote from a former Justice. It doesn't matter one iota what law is in Chile, New Zealanr or elsewhere when it comes to U.S. jurisprudence. Judges should rule on the laws in their juridictions and nowhere else.

Lawmakers, howver, may benefit from looking at other countries to see how they approach different issues. That is precisely why judges should not legislate from the bench.

Which explains how you get groups such as PETA (be a hero, save a whale) and Planned Parenthood (save a baby, go to jail).

Plus confessing sins to plants.

And posting murder videos online.

It's the beginning of the end. Warren is the Anti Christ. The Four Horsemen shouldn't be far behind.
