British Court: Bible belief is incompatible with human dignity

quote:
On Tuesday, a British court ruled that belief in the Bible was “incompatible with human dignity.”
That statement came in a case involving Dr. David Mackereth, a devout Christian who had worked as an emergency doctor for the National Health Service for 26 years. He said he was fired from his job because he refused to call a biological man a woman. The court’s ruling stated: “Belief in Genesis 1:27, lack of belief in transgenderism and conscientious objection to transgenderism in our judgment are incompatible with human dignity and conflict with the fundamental rights of others, specifically here, transgender individuals.” The court added. “… in so far as those beliefs form part of his wider faith, his wider faith also does not satisfy the requirement of being worthy of respect in a democratic society, not incompatible with human dignity and not in conflict with the fundamental rights of others.”

This won't be shocking news for anyone who is familiar with the Bible.
Matthew 24:9
Matthew 24:9

That's downright scary. Stupid and scary.

Fired for not calling a biological man a woman, but will be told he hates science.
Wonder if the Brits would have done this to one of their new third world, terrorist "citizens". I bet not, considering we already know how much they hate the Alphabet crew.
Just wait until the Filth can do this here. It is coming when they get control again.

Yes. The claim that they only want "equal" rights was bogus from the outset.
They want total and unequivocal surrender.

I think the Talmud and the Quran are incompatible with Western Civilization so frick You London.

Is this the same Britain that's capitulating to Muslims? Are THEIR views incompatible with human dignity?

the transgender movement is absurd, and this court ruling is asinine. That having been said, there are a lot of parts of the Old Testament that western society has chosen to move past. Calls for genocide and execution for breaking the Sabbath come to mind

You are onto something there. In order for Islam to truly take foot, you have to discredit the previous beliefs.

Also, the New Testament tells us to move past them.
Will the Muslims be told to move past the parts of the Koran that say to kill infidels and throw the gays off of rooftops?

Exactly, but since their terrorist allies hate "the right" just as much as they do, right now they are embracing them.
It is well past time people quit saying the left is embracing Islam because they believe they are just another group of "tortured minorities at the hands of whitey".
The left is working hand in hand with them both here and abroad.

Our forefathers knew what kooks the Brits were thus getting the hell out of there. Now we have half the country that want to be like the Brits again.

Our blood lines are full of compassionate people. Unfortunately compassion can mutate into something that is counterproductive.

I patiently await their ruling when a Muslim doctor does the same based on his/her faith in Islam.
I have a funny feeling their ruling won't be as bold and plainly worded when faced with a retaliatory trip to the Aloha Snackbar.

One can only hope, but probably not

Judges using ideology instead of facts in their rulings.
Nothing new

Does the court say the same thing about Islam?

I was thinking more in terms of Romans 1:22.

I agree with that as well.
