That would be more accurate if the for sale sign said $100,000 instead of $300,000 and interest rates were at 10% or higher. Down vote me all you want but the difference in the case of my "parents" was they had no expectations of being able to buy what most would consider a nice house in a good neighborhood as a starter home. frick these entitled assholes. Had a goddamn used Datsun B210 for a car that was shared between two working parents, and our house was a 50k shite-hole in the fricking ghetto. Have these fricking spoiled fricks eat beanie weenies, ramen noodles, and oatmeal for weeks at a time and buy clothes from goodwill and sacrifice like EVERY goddamn generation before had to. It's instant gratification now and unrealistic expectations driven by the fake lives they see on social media. I see it in these fresh college graduates with the useless degrees that expect to make 100k in their first job even though they have jack shite for actual work experience or real job skills. I'm sorry, but if my dumb arse can go from homeless to comfortably middle class, they can make it as well.
