There are *very* few things that I always thought that progressives and republicans would set aside our differences on and agree upon. A sitting US President criminally targeting political opposition was one of those things. Yet here we are, and not only are republicans seemingly indifferent, but many are cheering it on. I am simultaneously appalled and sad. Sad for the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in as a country. Somehow you all managed to find an impossibly new low and there appears to be no end in sight…

Surely you cannot be this ignorant? My greater concern is that the previous administration actively and willfully targeted an opposition political leader and attempted multiple times to weaponize the FBI and legal system to incarcerate him. This is GOOD that we will have a trial and a search for evidence and truth. If the judicial system does not convict Comey of criminal activity I can accept that. Will you be able to accept if Comey is found guilty?
