They should bring a lawsuit against the GOP for piss poor messaging, strategy, and just plain interest/focus on this matter in Virginia.

The malaise and cowardice to get in the street-fight that the Democrat Party will gladly engage in is glaring.

You can call them weanies and limp-wrists all you want but they are winning because GOP loyalists are more worried about how they ‘look’ or keeping their grift rather than actually winning…

Sort of like forum shopping for a nationwide injunction like the Dem's love to do?

I have no idea about the legal merits of this case under what I believe will be entirely state constitutional provisions, but I have to give credit to the lawyers for finding a good jurisdiction in which to file their case.

This will likely work as well as a Boasberg TRO

I am shocked the L-word hasn't been used by page 2

I doubt there could have been anymore red of counties

Why should it be? You've repeatedly told us there's no such thing.

Not what I've said.

I've said there is no single definition and the term has expanded into such malleability that is has no meaning, like "globlaism" or "The Deep State" (Iran really fricked those 2 up, mind you)

No, this is siding with common sense and democratic principles.

Do you feel the same about Texas's redistricting?

Let's put it this way. I'm a layman and even I know the way that thing was worded was blatantly wrong and dishonest as hell.

The Governor of the Commonwealth is a dishonest and crooked little bitch. In other words, a typical spook.

Gerrymandering is legal, but terrible.

The larger issue I covered in Wednesday's thread earlier

And I'm all for making districts more purple, but partisans and politicians are not. It's too risky for them and will make election results, parties, and caucuses too unstable.

I find anyone who would be confused by it to be an idiot. We have to live with idiots voting in a democracy, though.
