You do realize POTUS is the head of the Executive Branch of government? Congress is the Legislative Branch. It's Congress' job to pass legislation.

Absolutely, but it would be nice if he, and his team, presented a detailed plan of action for legislation with reasonable and attainable data-points that could be debated in committee by Congress....vice Congress working from 1 page outlines void of any real substance or worse...working from scratch. You want to be POTUS, then act like it and lead from the front. Past Presidents - both REP & DEM - presented detailed plans to Congress for action.
