If Trump is even remotely likable this time around, he’s going to absolutely crush it.
Before, people were looking for a reason to vote against him. This time, they will default to him and it would take something major to pry them away.

I would have agreed with you pre-2016. But yes, I think he will be the nominee.
As I see it, he owns ~30-40% of GOP voters. They will never leave him, and I think the legal back-and-forth will only shore up their support.

I think it increases the resolve of supporters that don't follow MSM and don't have wool over their eyes. Turns them from a 10 to an 11, a 6 to midnight.
But there are a ton of stupid people out there that voted for Trump last time or want Biden gone that will still buy into this shite and either vote for someone else or abstain. The msm brainwashing is still effective for most. And most people still can't hold more than one idea in their head at a time.

This is the new norm post Karl Rove --> the 51% model. Consider the unfavorables of the last several candidates on either side. Hell, look at Hillary's popularity before 2016.
I think Trump will be the GOP nominee, and I think he will lose in the general if the dems run anyone but Biden. If they're dumb enough to run Biden again, Trump may win. But what the hell do I know.

Oh I know several people that voted for Biden instead of trump because they didn't like how trump talked
