The left is just going to defend it saying it is a nothing burger. Look at Kiwi, he used the word "if" six times to try to create a scenario in which this is nothing. However, five of those scenarios could be proven true by simply producing a document. I eagerly await their proof......

Truth is Biden could walk into Iran, hand them the $6B in cash, tell Israel to go to hell, say he single-handedlyninstalled Putin and is getting 10% back in every dollar sent to Ukraine, and it would not matter one bit. Because that’s (D)ifferent and Republicans are a threat to democracy.

The timing and the amount is what makes it pretty suspect. Combined with what the company that paid James has said.
It isn’t illegal at all for family members to pay each other. The memo on the check said it was payment for a loan. This is where it gets interesting.
If it’s a loan, the Biden should be able to produce a note and the corresponding bank statements confirming the loan. If they cannot, then clearly it wasn’t a loan.
If they can then it needs to be determined if it was an arms length loan or a gift. Either way the tax return would either show interest income, or there would be a 709 showing the gift. This really isn’t a big deal as the amounts would be pretty small. Still. Absence of documentation lends credence to something nefarious.
The question is, why would James worth 7 million be taking a loan from Joe, worth 10 million?
Occam’s razor. We all know what happened here. It was likely a payment for influence.

While I don’t disagree that the “ big guy” benefited financially several fold… The fact that you would consider this a legit story makes me feel sorry for you.
