O come on. It would be funny if he was like that guy in the show Silicon Valley who was upset that he was only worth hundreds of millions and not billions.

You never Trumpers are the gift that keeps on giving. Nobody gives a frick about Donnie 9 inch taxes. We vote for him because bitches like you are against him. He could literally shoot Mueller in the head on 5th Avenue and still get elected because the media and people like yourself are so corrupt and dishonest.

Do you know what I’m talking about? Do you know that at least 4 of those LLCs are just holding debt ties to 2 properties that had billions in loans, a significant portion held by the Bank of China?

Are we going to pretend that those LLCs count in the denominator when calculating his success ratio?

If they are single member LLCs they are disregarded entities for tax purposes which makes it completely irrelevant for purposes of this thread. I would be interested in reading that article, though. I’m wondering what the advantage is for the particular entity organization.

Couldn’t care less about this. Ultra wealthy people have ventures that fail all of the time. It isn’t an indication of anything other than they take risks. Do you know how many casinos in Atlantic City declared bankruptcy the same time trumps did? Are all of those casinos owned by idiots? I’m not sure what the point of this line of information is trying to prove.

Why don't you go to Trump Orgs website and tell me all the buildings he owns in NYC and then tell us about his success ratio

so you want to d*ck measure DJT’s personal wealth? Go ahead. Show us how much better you’re doing than he is.

For the rest of us... we don’t judge people by heir income. It’s not an assessment of his character, ability to lead, or implement meritous policies.

I'm posting this to show the business he owns or has owned as I said I would. I said it's 512 but it's right at 500 (sue me for being off by a dozen). These are businesses he's owned over the last 25 years. The format of this page kind of pisses me off to be honest.

Found it.

Trump’s Empire: A Maze of Debts and Opaque Ties

Here is the pertinent part about the LLCs.
quote:

One of these investments involves an office tower at 1290 Avenue of Americas, near Rockefeller Center. In a typically complex deal, loan documents show that four lenders — German American Capital, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank; UBS Real Estate Securities; Goldman Sachs Mortgage Company; and Bank of China — agreed in November 2012 to lend $950 million to the three companies that own the building. Those companies, obscurely named HWA 1290 III LLC, HWA 1290 IV LLC and HWA 1290 V LLC, are owned by three other companies in which Mr. Trump has stakes.
OK. So I had it wrong I think. It looks like there are only 3, and they are some type of subsidiary of some other company of his. I don’t know what you would call them, and I don’t know if they solely hold debt or not. But it just seems like some complex (but legal) way to create extra legal barriers.

I’m not as rich nor ever will be. And while my parents supported me the best they could, they would never have been able to give me tens of millions maybe even hundreds of millions of dollars to bail me out.

But I would have loved to have been able to sell a share of my struggling business for tens of millions to my father, then have him pretend lost like 90% of its value and then buy it back from him for pennies on the dollar while also claiming it increased in value.

He wants us to judge him by his self-reported wealth, and it’s been repeated many times on here that people shouldn’t judge him by his character flaws, like cheating on his wife.

So what are we supposed to do?

That part is my favorite. The author has clearly never perused the secretary of states entity database and shows a bit of their ignorance. Not to mention....don’t just tell me it’s complex then describe a very small portion of the governance. Explain the complexity to me. (Directed toward the author not you). I’ll read the whole thing, though. Mayne I’ll pick up some strategies!

A very common strategy. Many states have even instituted Series LLCs to protect against judgments and creditors. Say for instance, you own 20 rental houses. You would have a series LLC perhaps named B_V1 through B_V20. If someone was injured at B_V16, only that property would be subject to a judgment. It wouldnt destroy your entire enterprise or expose you personally.

However, you would have to deal with a writer calling your obscure named LLCs complex shells.

You’re right, i dont have a 401k... I have two.

From two different companies I’ve worked for, one’s with Vanguard and one’s with T Rowe.. and i have enough that i could retire tomorrow, in my 40s, if i wanted to.. granted, i’d have to retire to somewhere like Thailand or Malaysia where the COL is low, but i could still do it.

*yawn* I'm not about to start judging people by their wealth. You'll have to make that case.

Then tell me why anyone should consider it disparaging to do so. If Trump didn't utilize his advantages--why would I respect him more for passing up obvious opportunity? Just trying to understand your values here.
