Then tell me why anyone should consider it disparaging to do so.

quote:Ok. You’re great at calling people ignorant, but you’ve yet to actually show you are any less ignorant.
Like I said, your ignorance is on full display.

It appears you have no value-based argument to make. Noted.

well it appears he's done a good job keeping it secret from authorities. Good grief.

So, I read the article and was amazed at how little the author seemed to understand relatively basic entity governance and law. Then I looked her up. She has a bachelors degree in political science from Calgary. Now, education certainly does not equal understanding or lack of understanding. However, that author displays a stunning ignorance and arrogance in the assumptions made. I probably wouldn’t use that article, or that author, as authority on anything complex. She just doesn’t understand basics and she assumes smart/prudent planning is nefarious.

So here is your real issue, Jealousy.

So here is your real issue, Jealousy.

A financial advisor was working for a company and Trump was one of their clients. He discovered that the bonds for one of Trump’s casinos were junk, and he warned his own clients about this as was his responsibility.
Trump found out about that and pressured the company to have him say that it was a lie and apologize. He didn’t, and he was no longer employed soon after. And those bonds ended up being junk and people lost hundreds of millions because of it.
So my value-judgement is that this was deplorable behavior on all accounts by Trump, and just one of many examples in his history.

Link? If you got this info from an author like the last one you posted...you likely don’t have the real story.

The way this is written makes me believe you don't understand what you are writing. Can you link to the court filings associated with this alleged fraud?

quote:I guess he threatened to sue on top of that.
Minutes later, when he called the Janney headquarters, he was told to return to the office immediately and was faxed a letter management had received from Donald Trump earlier that morning. In it, Trump expressed “outrage” at Roffman’s disparaging remarks about the Taj and said that he’d long considered Roffman “an unguided missle (sic)” as an analyst. Trump added that he was “planning to institue (sic) a major lawsuit against your firm unless Mr. Roffman makes a major public apology or is dismissed.” Trump has disclaimed any intention of getting Roffman fired and merely wanted him to be more circumspect in communicating his negative views on the Taj.

Ok. So pretending the story is true... Let's suppose Trump sent out a Press Release that said "HEY EVERYONE, MY BONDS ARE WORTHLESS JUNK!!!"
How much profit would those bondholders have made?
