Not necessarily. Most real estate investors do it for money not to become famous. They set up LLCs and you'd never know their name unless you dig for it.

Source: I'm a real estate investor who does it for money and not fame (although I'm not at multi-millionaire level yet).

That being said, his brother could think he is ultra rich but in reality he might have been leveraged up to his eyeballs and had a very small actual net worth.

Probably figured he'd have some fun before committing this act.

That's what the 9/11 folks hijackers did. They drank and watched porn. Fun before the destruction and murder of the innocent.

Well. This might explain how he got hold of weapons regular schmos couldn't get.

License to fly two airplanes. Certified Accountant. Geez, smart guy. Sounds like a Bundy sociopath unless there is something that an autopsy will show to mitigate what is becoming a pathological act.

I can not but help to blame the Dem Party for their divide and conquer politics. Race and Class.

My guess is the brother has no idea what his brother is/was worth. He barely knew him. I know my brothers well but any true knowledge of net worths is a guess.

Mental issues know no bounds.

Some extremely successful people commit suicide. This guy decided to be an a-hole.

Depends on how he transported them in.

Threads this morning pretty much stated that the guns could have been broken down and brought up in a duffel bag without it being obvious.

The ammo is a little more of a question given that he was likely bringing up hundreds of rounds of large caliber ammo as opposed to small-arms stuff like 22s. He could have done it in luggage or backpacks but I would think that shite would be fairly heavy.

If this is true, the casino would know a lot about this guy from kissing his arse and comping the shite out of him.

Any reports from family should be taken with a grain of salt.

They apparently haven't "known" him for over a decade.

I agree that his financial situation does not rule out the possibility of mental illness, but I have yet to hear of any evidence that he had ever received psychiatric treatment.

Which weapons? I read up on bump stocks and learned with the use of the gun's recoil they allow you to shoot a semi automatic at near automatic rates.

I don't know why people have to believe that people who do this must be mentally ill. There are people who are simply bad and can do horrendous things when they feel they need to.

One golf club travel case would've held everything and no one in a Vegas hotel would have given him a second look.

has nothing to do with fame. if you are a multi millionaire, you have lots of connections and a large network of people you deal with. plenty of people would be stepping forward to fill us in on the details of this guy.
