There are many stories about people feeling better for a couple of days, and then taking a massive turn for the worse. Not trying to be alarmist.

I suspected that it was more serious than they were letting as a precautionary hospitalization and a precautionary extension of that hospitalization despite “being in good spirits,” seemed like the opposite of what they were recommending with concern about the hospital resources. And that would be even more true for a Prime Minister which would require a great deal of security and logistical resources to hospitalize him when it would probably be cheaper and less complicated to provide in-home healthcare, especially if it was just “precautionary.”
I didn’t expect it to get to ICU level though. I hope he pulls through. It would be quite a morale deflator worldwide to lose one of the major global leaders to the crisis during the crisis. Do we have any other examples of that other than maybe when kings/emperors fought in wars and/or against revolts?

My hunch tells me he will soon be playing a golden harp. I hope he pulls through though. They wouldn't have moved him to the ICU unless it was really serious. Bad optics otherwise.
