That's fine but I don't get to decide. Since David_DJS lives in AZ he gets to decide.

She is the best candidate in the primary. She'll get my vote. I just hope she wises up so we can win a very winnable senate seat.

The AZ GOP needs to stop being retard and run a non retarded GOP candidate against the retarded Kari.

The better options (there's a few) are sitting it out (so far) because why run the risk of being DeSantisized?

before you open your mind up to the cold reality that Trump is a big government/establishment friendly Republican?

Look I'm aware that Trump has to dabble in the establishment pond. There is no way around that fact for any politician.

The difference is, do you allow them to control you or do you control them. On foreign policy, borders and trade Trump runs the show. Those are the three pillars of Trumpian governance. On other issues like taxes, judges, social issues, regulation he is generally good with the GOP establishment policies.

Because you post like a 3rd grader.

In a thread about DeWitt and Lake, why would I not think the following was about DeWitt?

No different than dems. Willing to break the rules to get their preferred candidates in there. Muh democracy!

Has there been a more MAGA state party the last 6 years than the AZ GOP?

Kelli Ward ran it into the ground

The former President who has led the party for 8 years is the establishment

I agree on foreign policy and trade, but not the border. Trump absolutely backed off border/immigration policies (legal and illegal) because of pressure from the establishment.

Moreover, while Trump's foreign policy was great the fact is he could not shovel cash fast enough at MIC.

He didn't dabble in the establishment pond. He flooded the establishment pond with dollars. That is a fact.

He should have finished the wall when he had the chance, and he should have stuck with his tougher positions on legal and illegal immigration.

Where does DeWitt's career go from here? I kind of feel bad for the guy.

Good question.

A better question might be who leaked the audio and if Kari Lake is happy or unhappy about it. Before this incident, I think they were pretty tight and while she obviously didn't appreciate being bribed, that doesn't mean she wanted to see the guy burned down.

Do we know who made the recording?

Kari Lake basically gave a campaign speech, she either recorded it or knew it was being recorded.

What. It was Kari Lake.

She scripted the whole thing knowing she could use it against him later, released it, and then threatened to release "more" if he didn't resign, which he did.

think this board would benefit from a serious discussion on "establishment" - that term is like "racism" now, it's used a so many different ways that it has no meaning.

Personally, I describe "establishment" as two things that seamlessly overlap:

The Establishment Uniparty, which consists of all politicians who line their pockets with laundered tax dollars while continuing to sell Americans down the river for the CCP and other geopolitical adversaries while actively and aggressively taking action to subvert precedent and boundaries firmly set by the United States Constitution, and,

The mixture of the entities I call the MSM Propaganda Machine and the State-sponsored Narrative Control Apparatus, which consists of ABXi, XiNN, NBXi, XiBS, MSDNC, Faux News, big pharma, most of corporate America, Hollywood, the music industry, big tech, network and cable television, the AM/FM airwaves and most publications.

They're all on the same team, and it couldn't be more obvious. If the word "establishment" has lost its meaning, know that my definition of the word is as I described above.

So let me get this straight: Republicans are eating other Republicans?

From George Washington's farewell address: "…they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government…"

No

Democrats are eating us alive from within and destroying the party.

Kari Lake - Former Dem as recently as 2019
Vivek - Dem donor, Soros Fellow
Donald Trump - former Dem (on multiple occasions)
Clay Travis - former Dem
Laura Loomer - former Dem (Obama and Hillary supporter)

The list goes on and on.

BS…

I want the money man back east burned to the ground. If I were Nitwit (Dewitt), Mitch McConell takes the fall with me.

It sounded like that to me also, but DeWitt was her guy. She's the one that nominated him for his job. Maybe they had a falling out before this audio was made.
