So the proper action was to sit on their hands and blame it all on Trump?

Seriously, Jerry Smith from Rick and Morty may as well be our Secretary of State. That’s how bad he fricked this up.

They didn't follow Trump's projected plan they just bailed in the stupidest way possible at the worst time possible.
Trump's plan was always contingent on conditions on the ground.

It's amazing how they've blatantly, outright pretended as if the entire world doesn't know that the military and intel community advised the Biden administration of the looming threats and possibilities should they not take very immediate corrective action. Which is a pretty ugly indirect swipe at those parties in and of itself because it works to insinuate that the military and intel community were themselves incompetent and useless. But Biden couldn't care less about that. He's too much of an imbecile.

My understanding is that the DOJ and not the military was calling the shots on this withdrawal. If that is the case, then Biden's administration is 100% culpable.
If Biden's team and the military both agree that it was the military who screwed it up, then I'll agree that Biden is not the problem. But if the military says that the DOJ was the one making all of the decisions and did it against the recommendations, then Biden and his handlers need to be held accountable.

So Biden had no plan?
Other than stomping his feet and screaming that it isn't his fault?
Doesn't appear so.

I had a friend try this argument. We are the United States of America, there's no reason we couldn't have pushed back the deadline if we wanted to. Hell, we had time to get back into Paris Accords and other shite, but apparently this was too much.
Also, it's not like the transition happened in June, it was 7 months old at that point.

So, Trump's deadline was May 1st. They just lie right to your face with no consequences.
Yes. A strategically good deadline since it was still winter in Afghanistan. These A-holes, because they wanted the 9/11 photo op, changed the deadline to coincide with fighting season over there. F'n brilliant!!!

The withdrawal was screwed up intentionally as a tool to blame something on Trump. Doesn't matter to them that American lives were lost.

They changed everything else Trump did. Thyer lying pieces of shite with no spine.

Like all regressives, they expect someone else to do the work for them. Because they're lazy and unable of anything but destroying our country. Imbeciles!

Your administration has no problem changing everything else through executive orders.
When your administration screws up something extremely bad, you blame the last administration.
Okay, I now understand this administrations strategy. Blame everyone else but themselves.
