There are people in the hood in L.A. that have never seen the beach. In some cases it's much worse than even the other side of the state. Some haven't ventured more than a few miles outside of their radius.

Meh, same attitude I have towards the white Progs who are always threatening to leave for Canada or Europe if an election doesn’t go their way (sadly in those cases, they rarely carry through with their “threat”).
But for those who do (and for these people who leave this horrible nation for Africa): It’s not hurting my feelings. If your “utopia” is not here then go where you think it is.
No sense in staying and spreading your misery with others.
