Their whole bean varieties, whole bean being the only kind I get, are okay and available at Walmart.
I didn't know it was a political thing to buy or not buy it.
I just like a good dark roast bean coffee when I can find it.

Yep. Dude is a fig. Shitty coffee anyway. They were just trying to capitalize on aligning with patriots.
Their CEO was caught donating to ActBlue.
I don't trust any CIA spooks. They're all screwed up.

Do you know who "he" is? Couldn't find any info on him.

Thats Ed, he’s the owner. Former special operator. He took on 3 druggies trying to rob him close to his store while out on his daily 5 mile run. They had knives he had his training. Said it was only time he wasn’t packing. He knocked one guy out then ran to his store got his gun and held them til cops arrived and arrested them.
He started business in Virginia then leased an old McDonalds in Daytona Beach and refurbished by himself. Now moving HQ to Ohio, has a son in NY he has to drive up lots of weekends. Moving to Ohio gets him closer. Once HQ moves he’ll keep Florida open and will open more places in Ohio and also move his Florida place somewhere else in Florida, probably closer to Jax.
You can PM him via X if you want to know more. He has spent a ton of money doing charity work and helping vets. Got a monument built in home town of a buddy who died in war. Bought an SUV for vet in need. Went to Virginia and helped after hurricane. Did same in Florida. Recently helped fund expenses for another vet whose young girl was needing a transplant. Also took up donations for parents to go on a vacation after over 4 years of that girl living in hospital. She is doing fine now. He does not use 3rd party he gives 100% of donations to the cause and pays taxes on them.
Anyways, he’s a great follow. I love his Privateer and some other coffees. Air roasts all of it. Takes around 2 weeks to get as he roasts to order. Nothing is stocked.
For me he’s never wavered on his gun beliefs. When he first opened in FL, coos would sit in his parking lot hidden and catch speeders. He went out and told them they aren’t welcome in his lot. Had his gun strapped and a young cop tried to say illegal. Told him no it was 100% legal and he needed to go back to school. He told cop to call his supervisor down. Supervisor couldn’t come but told cop to drop it and move on. Next day he’s called down to PQ so he goes and Supervisor had cop apologize to him over the gun. I might not have told the story right but thats the jest of it.
I’ll do business with someone who holds their convictions any day.

Holy shite 1 to 50 reverse split is brutal. Major red flags for any future investors. Going to take a while to recover from that if ever.

They weren't CIA spooks. They were armed taxi drivers, cleared only to a Secret level, who gave rides to case officers.

Yeah that’s what I remember too. I don’t remember what they did, but I remember it was extremely off putting.

I know a couple who just opened one of these in Atlanta and it has always been busy but I have not been by there in a few months so I am not sure if their business is actually hurting

It’s a stupid idea, a hopeful get rich quick scheme, not the foundation for a long term business. All the copy cats BRCCs being posted in this thread proves the point.
Sounds like a bunch of libs - “I NEED my coffee to share my political beliefs!”

They expanded too quickly at a terrible time.
A few years ago, it was just coffee: whole bean, grind and seasonal blends.
It’s everywhere in stores as well, whereas it was online only not too long ago. A massive increase in production without the immediate demand.

It could have been a GREAT PR boost for them, instead they turned it into a PR disaster.
I wonder if they didn't have long short positions on their own company. lol
