Bingo. Deep down, Maher is one of many that want you dead. He's made that clear many times in his career with things he has openly "wished" for in order to hurt Trump or his voters.

It is your typical lying Democrat saying, "oh yeah that's bad, I will damn sure vote to make sure it keeps happening because deep down I approve it"

I do think Bill is honest though.

I'd like to believe that but I've seen this go both ways. Maher has a myopic elitist view on this matter. He's breaking bread with people that mostly exist to be seen on camera talking about political ideology which is also his primary job at this juncture. The far left thinks that if you scratch a liberal a fascist bleeds. They've got as little interest in liberals as conservatives, they think they're two sides of the same coin. And on this very website I've seen people conflate liberals and leftists as one in the same but that is very much not true now and maybe never was previously but the left was just much more marginal.

If there were a few million more people on the right with your attitude we’d be as shitty as the left.

I am deeply confused.

It’s fairly simple. Let’s imagine the Right gets taken over by more people like prouddawg (see post above). Would you start voting for the democrats, or would you try to wrest back control of the party that supports your worldview?

Ya know, until this past week’s show - I thought he was changing.

But . . . after seeing him (this past Friday) double down on Trump and argue with Shapiro that the left isn’t the cause for the violence, I don’t think I want to watch his show again.

It was petty and cheap. Not even his audience was into him on Friday. The endless Trump jokes fell flat and seemed pointless and out of place.

I listened to that whole episode. I’d never really heard Billy Corgan talk shop before. He seems like a great dude.

Here is my take on the guy

To the extent that he would be asked if he vote voted for Newsome he ran for president would tell you everything you need to know about his politics

Without denouncing the tearing down of statues, the attempted assassination and the renouncing of the Democratic principles of the current party he is nothing more than one of them and should be shunned.

Bill Burr looks more like he should be singing melancholy songs in an early nineties fringe grunge band.
