And they took that voice, and murdered the most reasonable voice on the right. It wasn't fair. He was a father, a husband, a son, and openly wanted dialogue.
No, he wasn't perfect and there are times when his debates got heated, but he was about as reasonable as they come these days.
It's sickening.

The Left has left Maher in the dust. Leftists everywhere are rejoicing over CK's death. Keith Olbermann just tweeted that he wouldn't go to heaven. The Nation put out a piece today saying he deserved it because he was racist. DL Hughley did an interview with Don Lemon saying he deserved to die.

Because the talking point is that people need to come together and talk to each other without judgment, and the guy who did it better than anyone got killed for doing just that.

Maher still couldn't come to the crux of the matter. His "this isn't about left vs right" bit was just another "there's extremes on both sides" bullshite couched in different phrasing. This is about left vs right in its starkest form. But, for Maher to admit that means he has to admit - to himself and to the public - that the logical extension of the political philosophy he has supported his entire life is always going to end up in a bullet in Charlie's neck.

I just saw a man on the street interview with multiple college kids who said it was fine to kill someone who disagrees with you. They said that out loud ti a guy with a mic & camera. No shame ir guilt. That would never happen at a conservative Christian school. You coukdn't find one person who would say that.

Hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of older people who had never actually heard Charlie Kirk speak have heard him speak in the last few days. They had heard of him and thought he was the worst.
