Goddamn. I wish NC had a Desantis as governor.

What are the term limits for Florida? How many more years in total can he mould Florida into an anti-woke paradise?

Disney didn’t have to get involved at all.

Already did. And I started selling bootleg Disney DVDs on Craigslist.

Disney tried to pick a fight and got the worst end of it. Applause to Ron DeSantis for putting the well-being of our children first!

They are waiting for ABC Orlando to tell them how much less taxes Disney will pay and how much of a burden this will be on the little guy. Hundreds of millions extra per year that they paid without question for 50 years without once lobbying against it. Makes complete sense

Two terms, four years each. That's why Crist can run again, he only served one term.

You know you've sunk a big battleship when these people start feigning concern for the taxpayer.

T-soy and a few others are over on the tax threads telling us we don't know how it works. Its their safe space.

Here is an interesting twist… if they believe that Disney now get Orange County sheriffs to protect and Orange County power and water…. Guess what, they also get the extra crime from la k of policing and poor service for water and electricity… when hurricane comes through and power is lost , you think the power company rushes there?

Disney cannot afford that type of poor service and that is what they would get

No… something else is coming and Disney will pay for it. It will not be Orange County taxpayers

Get Donald Trump out of the way or on board and he'll be the next President of the United States.

Bingo. This was a response to Disney.

Disney opened fire on the legislature, not the other way around.

Never trust Democrats on the what something costs. Spending $5 trillion 'reduces the deficit'. Ending a tax break 'will cost tax payers more'.

None of it makes any sense.

*Good to see you BBONDS25. It's been a while.

The joke is on all of you. Dissolving the special district will not happen until June, 2023, and only then if the legislature fails to enact a law renewing the district.

Desantis and the GOP legislators are going to crow about this all during the Fall elections, and then turn around and renew the district next Spring.

I thought this was going to be an interesting Free Speech Retaliation case, but instead nothing is going to happen.

He had no problem with Disney when they gave him $100,000.
