The good news is, minimum wage will probably be going up, along with gas prices and everything else. The bad news is, your job will probably be closing down, and you won't be able to find another one. You might be able to draw unemployment for a little while, but it will run out soon. YOU WON!!

More bad news. The things they buy will increase in price too.

All the minimum wage does is reset the poverty line.

More bad news; We are about to see a record setting recession! Good luck with those stimulus checks!

I thought I covered that. Maybe not well enough.

No we arent. We will, by June, see a massive increase in consumer spending.

And, it brings much more people into it.

The advocates think solely about those that have an increase in wages and how that is such a good thing.

What they never think about is the person that is already just above the new min wage. As prices for goods and services reset, they are in essence taking a pay cut.

Those that advocate this are either really stupid or have an agenda.

You aren't looking forward to your $137 hamburger meal for the family?

Where do you get that idea? Where is that money coming from, for all of these consumers to spend?

Good news they will UBI soon. bad news is Once the UBI checks start coming people with out a lot of bills will quit to live off UBI. That will drive up wages and the cost of products again.

Luckily, we live in the middle of nowhere and we almost never eat out.

As long as you are living off the land and off the grid, that should isolate you well enough from the inflation. The $34/lb ground beef isn't an issue if you raised your own cow and fed it only stuff grown on your property.

I'm not surprised by how dumb the low income voter is. However, I'm shocked by how ignorant our political leadership is. While the high school dropout, convicted felon may not understand basic economics, it's sad that our 'economic' leadership does not either.......

Walmart, burger King, Micky D, arent going anywhere. They may raise their prices but they are still going to need people to cook up and serve those fries. Walmart is still going to need people to stock those shelves. Hotels are still going to need people to wash the sheets and clean the rooms. Life will still go on, just that people who use to make $10-12 will be making $15. It's better to work 30 hours a week at $15 an hour than 40 at $10 so even if they get their hours cut, still going to make about the same and work less hours.

Funny that he made such a bold statement yet didn't stick around long enough to defend it.
