The inflation rate was 1.4% when Joe Biden came into office.
Utilities up 30% year over year.
Gas is up 49% in one year.
CPI higher than expected at 8.6%.
Food is up 10%.
Energy is up.
Hotel prices 9% up month over month.

Inflation is too much money supply in the economy. We need to reduce money in the economy that is creating the inflation. So raise taxes to get the money supply out of the economy and into the govt.
Makes perfect sense. I don't see the problem.

They've been low for some time. Not sure why it wasn't done before.
For the first time in my real working life, I got back money (about $3k or so) from my tax filings last year.
It's just a matter of time before it all goes back up.

I doubt tax receipts have ever been higher on top of it

Your indoctrination makes sense now. Thank you for the context about where you are in life.

Ahhhhh, yeah. So, in your mind, as mashed as it is, shite just naturally turns around from being pretty damn good, to completely fricked? Just because, what goes down, goes up?

How is taking money out of the people's hands and giving it to the bloated bureaucracy of waste a good thing?
How about lets cut some spending instead of growing govt?

While the interest rate hikes are needed, all the focus seems to be there.
The media rarely talks about quantitative easing and the fact the Fed now has 8.6 trillion on its balance sheet, thats a whole lot of cash to throw onto a bonfire. And now in true fashion they are tightening it quickly AT THE SAME TIME as doble notching the points on increased rates. Always over reacting and always late. So expect a recession, stagflation, and right into a depression.

Pay more. Its an easy fix
But you don't want that. You want others to pay for you because you're a taker.

Ok...help me with something...best simple response to the people that said/say that the President can't control the economy, inflation or price of gas?
Anything ironed out that has worked to get them pissed they can't use this verbiage anymore?
We all got these people we know that hung their hats on that a year ago, and now its time to red-pill them for good. TIA

Do you not at all care about the govt responding by going the opposite direction, and cutting costs? I mean do private companies do what the govt and instantly raise prices without looking at how to cut the costs first? Does the everyday family just act flippant about their rising costs, and just say "ohhh well its bound to go up, so lets keep spending the way we do?"
I'm sure you are what I've seen referred to on here as an "OTBaller," so you don't care about the peasants. Just wondering if you think the avg person can be so flippant about stuff like this.

So you're one of the low-IQ dumb-asses who overpays all year, effectively loaning the government money, interest free??

So you're saying you have been paying and all of the sudden you get $3k back. Lose your job? or just full of shite?
