These people don't understand shite. They need to read up on their Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell. This will absolutely dry up many jobs in the black male populace.

Imho, a lot of this stupidity is tied to some contracts, like union ones, having wages indexed against the minimum wage.
Minimum wage goes up and it doesn’t affect most people with jobs but the unions get more because they are guaranteed X over minimum wage as a starting point.

In some of the states where they did raise minimum wage, you had workers asking for less hours bc they were going to lose their EBT and other benefits. Regardless of what they do, you’ll still have workers complaining and at the same time screw the business owners.

Oh, they fully understand it. And that's their intention.
How better to keep an entire portion of the population reliant on the government, than to exponentially decrease their opportunity for advancement even further.
They're doing this very deliberately. And black Americans in predominantly low-income black communities will be absolutely shellacked by this- and they'll still keep voting (D).
We have to secede from this incarnation of the USA. This is not sustainable or fair for anyone.
