I didn't say I liked McCain or thought he was worth a shite, just that he's the kind of person who'd say that considering he's been well ahead of the curve on post-soviet Russia.

I think he also believes he went and hung out with the blue collar crowd at Katie's Restaurant in Wilmington, which he mentioned in the Palin debate as how he was in touch with "Main Street USA".
