Both candidates are spending some of this critical time in states they don't really need to win.
Trump in Minnesota and Nevada.
Biden in Ohio and Georgia.
You can make an expanding the map or desperation argument for both sides.
Hell, the campaigns are likely guessing.
We will know soon enough.

He’s furiously trying to go to as many stages as possible knowing that he has no shot elsewhere.

Ohio is dead even
Trump will win Ohio but the margin is critical for the rest of the Midwest.
If Trump wins in Ohio in the 2-4 range he's likely done in PA, MI, WI and MN.
If he is close to his 2016 margin, 7-9 it's game on everywhere else.

So much for that 4 day lid; what does it mean that Biden is out there, and not in the basement like he was supposed to be.....?

Another state to spew the lie of how Trump is getting credit for their ecomony. Probably the biggest lie ever told. Makes me fricking sick

It means he will have another rally, that 7 people will show. Expect more idiotic statements that will need translation and cover ups by the media.

Looks like they just picked the one state that Trump is not campaigning in on Sunday or Monday to target. Just trying to get under Trumps skin.

He’s got a lot of money to waste.

I don’t understand how in the hell that matters. The votes in a state are what the are. Please explain to me how Trump winning Ohio means he’s done in PA, MI, WI, and MN.
I’m not claiming to be knowledgeable on campaign strategy and arguing against you, I just don’t understand.

I don't think Biden has any shot in OH, but I suppose his strategists know something I don't.

I think it does two things.
1) It signals to the base that he didnt throw in the towel for Ohio.
2) It gives Dems the appearance that they can still win the popular vote and thus claim the moral victory as the election not being the true will of the people.

Same reason he went to Georgia. They’ve been cut off in PA and are scrambling for other paths to 270.

I live near OH and I am very confident in the SW OH region, but I know NE OH and Cleveland are Blue strongholds that always keep the state in contention. The rural areas of OH are as red as any state in the country.
