I think some of that was on the admin mis-labeling employers. The DOE was not ready to deal with the PSLF program at all. Just your typical bureaucratic bullshite. I wonder what % of that 1% were bureaucrats in the DOE. I imagine a significant portion

Wonder what % of the students getting forgiveness didn't even fricking graduate.

A better question IMO is how many of them owe for advanced degrees.

Meaning that these are not poor people. They are probably better off than many if not most of the taxpayers that will be paying the loans for them.

I know no-one whom has had this paid. Biden and his idiotic cowardly jackass followers are spinning a false narrative for all of the fools to believe

I personally know someone that had their parent loan for one of their children forgiven though PSLF in the last few months.

they misconstrue every thing Trump says but this derelict said he got us out of debt, while speanding 6Billion buying young people votes.

he is such a hack POS.

how about sending Americans stimmies for groceries and gas if THEY MUST send Ukraine billions more.

grocery prices are insane.

biden is despised more than they hate Trump-Trump was ahead of the game calling the auto industry of pre bought EV vehicles a bloodbath. Read all about the new Solyndra on roids 2.0 ponzi scheme

they get wealthy and the working class rots.

Of course, and I think a lot of it was "well 2017 is so far away, we'll figure it out then."

Yeah. Devos did some good things at the DOE but they were more on the ideological level. Organization and execution was not her strong suit.

the inherent dangers of allowing populist thought to creep into public management.

All of it encourages bad decisions. Thats why smarter people have traditionally not tolerate the mob until this point.

The Democratic Party has been infested with populism longer than the Republican Party.

This doesn't work like populism = the "right" and the alternative is the left.

The reason both are circling the drain is that populism has infested both.

The irony is that the populists blabber on and on about the Uniparty...guess what they both have in common?

Yeah. Populism.

Then it fits in with both of the major candidates up for President in November

"socialism" as a distinguishing factor hasn't existed for a while in Dem v. Rep

No, its populism.

Socialism would mean ownership of the means of production.

This is smoke and mirrors.

As someone who has been paying on my student loan debt for a while, the potato is doing this to appease the progressive base. It's nothing new, and most people won't qualify.

Student loan repayment is set up on a 10-year repayment plan. If you make your payments for 10 years, generally speaking, the loans are paid off anyways. It's deception

Because it costs more to go to school there.

And yes, also because they are “more educated”, they will have more student loans to forgive.
