He's been awful every time I've heard him speak.

Frankly, the fact he was anywhere near Cruz makes me concerned about where Texas is heading.

Democrats and the media are going to keep pointing this out and will do everything they can to gut him like a fish.

Beto is going to figure out they liked him just fine he was the only one that had a chance to beat Ted Cruz in Texas but no so much against other more preferred democrat Presidential candidates.

He'll get some contributions and publicity. That's what all but four of these people are running for.

Beto reminds of the left’s Jindal.

Before tonight I thought he was weak and a lightweight but didn’t mind him as much as the others.

The Spanish bit was cringeworthy. He’s on my shite list now.

2 factors were at work in that one:

A) Soros was pouring SIGNIFICANT money into Beto

B) Cruz was generally disliked

Actually I think two people are filling that role right now.

Jay Inslee is polling at like 0-1% and still traveling all over the country billing Washington taxpayers for a presidential run that will go absolutely nowhere and will probably not even make it to Iowa.

Cory Booker was the hottest thing a few years ago and should've run in 2016 like Jindal should've run in 2012. A few years later in office, the shine on them is pretty much gone as they're known commodities.

That’s a pretty good comparison. Both devoid of principles, one fake minority / one real minority, physically weak looking men.

At least Jindal was actually intelligent - as in book smart. Beto seems dumb as a box of rocks.

I feel like his political career is over. Failed senate run and now a failed presidential run. Not sure where he goes from here. Probably a paid CNN contributor.

Jindal was book smart yes, but he was not politically and socially smart and had no situational awareness of what he was actually doing in his second term.

He let overpaid consultant hacks take him for a ride out of Louisiana that was only was only going to end in embarrassing failure, become one of the most hated Governors in LA history and his successor being a tax and spend liberal democrat (which he contributed greatly with his resource shifting to and funding of Scott Angelle because he had a petty feud with David Vitter).

Jindal's biggest mistake was not taking care of things at home and leaving Louisiana in good shape so people aren't asking questions as to why voters back home in Louisiana hate him so much.
