Terrible. It's a good reminder that we all will taste death as the result of sin in this life and that we all need the healing Christ offers, which is eternal life and eventually a new body that will not die nor suffer in pain.

Sad to see a man struck down in the prime of his life.
Ben and his wife have both been very strong through all of this. I pray that they can both carry that strength forward and that they are both at peace if/when the time comes.

That breaks my heart to read. I feel like I know him from reading the poli board and he has remained in my prayers. I still do believe I pray to a God of miracles and one would be nice in this case. God bless Ben and his family!

Ben is a patriot of the highest order and a man we should all aspire to be.
Looking death in the face he's been more worried about his wife and his country than he has about himself. Seeing how he's handled this has challenged me to be a better man, husband, and citizen.

Ben, It's good to see you fight through pain that is unimaginable to the rest of us. I want nothing more than for you and your family to have the peace that so many of us take for granted. Having fought with you on this board many times
