I’m not sure what their financial situation is, but I’m sure his wife could use a little extra cash for the upcoming burial and loss of income.

My step Dad went to hospice back in December. June he was released from Hospice! There is hope!

Prayers for y'all. I understand where you're at. My wife is stage 4 NSCLC. Currently she is participating in a clinical trial at MD Anderson with a chemo specifically targeted to her particular mutation. Seems as if the drug has stabilized or slightly reduced her tumor.
However, the side effect are horrendous.

I’ve only been reading the PB for a few months and don’t know Ben, but the note from his wife is so heartfelt and shows her love for him. I’m sorry that he and his family are going through this pain. Please God, give them strength and look over them all.

Prayers. My sister is recovery from surgery for breast cancer. Did chemo and surgery and is not doing radiation. She is cancer free at the moment.

I just spoke with Ben. He says he’s in a lot of pain and struggling but he’s still fighting! He does post a bit (I think he did this morning) but it’s hard for him to keep up at this point.
He says he loves you all and they are still planning to go to Natchez next week.
They haven’t had the heart to update the GFM again, as it’s been too difficult. He will post an update when he can.
