We can’t talk about it openly, but there are more of us than you might think.

I detest the progressive left, but the neocon socially conservative right wasn’t my cup of tea either, so I’d always vote Libertarian. I was going to vote for Gary Johnson, but when I got in the booth, I just had to vote MAGA. To this day, I haven’t told a soul. I’d be abandoned by most friends, and I don’t think politics (or religion) is worth that kind of drama when our friends and relatives are good people.

I think Trump has done 80-90% of things I agree with (nothing is ever 100%), but I used to think his antics could be curtailed. It’s only in the last few months I realized his antics are one of the only ways he’s been able to succeed in the ways he has.

I think he could grab another 10-20% of the middle by staying on message and actually expanding it. He has MAGA and America First. He could add Americans First and reach out to the Gay and Black community with a few small but measurable gestures that would dramatically move the needle.

The left would lose all credibility and momentum and he’d be doubling down on his mantra.

Anyway, just had to get that OUT there!

Thank you for having the courage to think for yourself and not fall for groupthink.

Please go pimpslap Toddy for us?

How sad is it that your "friends" will disown you for voting different then the herd.

Yet, YOU ALREADY KNOW that they all voted differently than you, yet you are still their friends.

Think about that.

The left is fricking pathetic.

We love our gay MAGA voters, don't we folks? Get this man a coat!

We live in a world where it is easier to come out as gay than come out as a conservative or frankly anything non-prog. Truly amazing.

Count me in as another. I don't agree with all things he says or does, but agree with the vast majority.

I also detest the left and their antics, and believe them to be more hate filled than any on the right.

Try telling a left wing gay group that you are a gay person who supports most Republican policies. I can ASSURE you that you will get a much more hate filled reaction than telling a group of Republicans that you are gay. I can personally assure you.

I’m a Christian, but I don’t care what you do with your life. It’s your choice to live how you want to as long as you don’t hurt others or infringe on their freedoms

Yep, I questioned a friend (a hairdresser...) about him not providing service to anyone that voted for Trump (since a couple older ladies talked politics with him). He asked them to not come me back.

I questioned him about how he felt about the people not baking the gay couple the wedding cake and he got VERY flustered. He said: “ just because I’m a liberal doesn’t mean I’m tolerant!” I was actually dumbfounded that he couldn’t see the hypocrisy.

At this point, I don’t hold much hope for the hard progressive left, but I really only think they’re ~15-20% of the electorate. A bit more of an Americans First message (inclusive of all American CITIZENS), would drastically move the needle.

Trump could move to decriminalize marijuana and repeal low level drug sentences (FYI-I don’t do drugs at all), make some appearances and strong statements in Flint and various inner cities and talk about the failures of the Democrats, and push to get job and housing descrimination on the basis of sexual orientation outlawed.

Those small things would be huge and beyond ANYTHING the left has demonstrated they would do. That could all be wrapped in American First and he could say that means ALL Americans.

Us straight patriots welcome you!

If it makes you feel any better, my best friend is a gay man. I won’t out him bc he swore me to secrecy, but he reluctantly voted to MAGA bc Hillary is such a crook and he’s got your worldview. He hasn’t looked back and there’s no way he’s not full MAGA 2020.

When Kavanaugh was confirmed he called me and said “OMG WE WON!!!!” He was almost in tears he felt so vindicated.

We chuckle about how he would never have a date again if he outed himself as a conservative, and worse a Trump Voter.

I find myself biting my own tongue sometimes with my politics. And it makes me sad. It let’s my views be (mis)represented by people who not only don’t share them, but have convinced themselves we’re horrible human beings for having them.

I do feel a little like I’m in a secret society sometimes too.

You get a fabulous coat.

I hate how the left has painted the right as the party that hates gay people.

Toddy is the only gay I hate, but that's because I despise leftists.

I agree with you, and frankly I think Trump’s team has not served him well in this regard because they’re so terrified of the press coverage. He should be going into inner cities and talking directly to blacks and Hispanics. Go to groups with lgbt and talk directly to them.

Trumps policies align and help blacks and Hispanics demonstrably more than any other race. And republicans policies are a natural ally to the lgbt because we want government out of everyone’s lives, while libs want the gov to control your life.

Toddy is probably a good guy, being that I know 100s like him. They aren’t evil (just as those on the right aren’t evil, even though the left thinks they are). He’s probably just stuck in group-think and can’t get out of it.

It will take Trump to do something measurable that shocks the left to make them KNOW that he’s not a bigot. And, it actually won’t take much, IMHO.

Wahhh. No, nobody's making it hard but you. Nobody cares. The fact that you want somebody to care speaks of your own insecurities but alas, nobody fricking cares. Not one story can you find of anyone giving a shite about gay people in the MAGA movement. This is fake news. This is an insecurity of yours and one you've been taught to have as a place to mine attention. Don't frick up my movement with your insecurities. Be gay or don't, but don't frick with this movement with your liberal victim speak.

Edit: Downvote if you want. You're part of the problem. Victims need people to give a shite and this world is running out of them. So victims are looking for new frontier to create their own new victimhood status. Oooooooh, it's tough being a gay MAGA OOOOOoooooooh. Newsflash, Welcome but still nobody cares about your preference and it's self-absorbed to believe everyone around you does. Goddamn you fricking people are self-absorbed af.

Fake fricking News. Free yourself from yourself.
