You’re not alone, one of my customers is half of a lesbian couple that will soon be married. They have been MAGA from the beginning, and they’re absolutely wonderful people in every way.

My gf’s cousin just got married to his partner and they’re the same way, they love Trump and his policies.

They’re all good down to earth people and I don’t give a shite that they’re LGBTQRS or whatever, they’re good people and that’s all that matters. I think you’ll find most people on the right feel the same way

We welcome ALL people of different ideas to MAGA. I’m glad to hear that you didn’t fall into the trap of the groupthink that poisons all different social circles. As a half-Asian myself, people like you, me, T-Bird, and a few others are a liberal’s worst nightmare because we know how to think for ourselves and not pander to strict emotion.

Now if you could, answer me this. The LGBT community is usually publicly liberal. And yes, I do know a few gay people who did support Trump. But like you, they stayed silent about it for the most part. But here’s where I get lost. Most gays work, pay taxes, and contribute to society in a positive way. So why are there so many who are so liberal? Believe it or not, most of their fiscal ideologies lean conservative. But even with the fact that a good number are socially liberal, there’s a lot that vote Democrat. I could never understand it.

Wahhh. No, nobody's making it hard but you. Nobody cares. The fact that you want somebody to care speaks of your own insecurities but alas, nobody fricking cares. Not one story can you find of anyone giving a shite about gay people in the MAGA movement. This is fake news. This is an insecurity of yours and one you've been taught to have as a place to mine attention. Don't frick up my movement with your insecurities. Be gay or don't, but don't frick with this movement with your liberal victim speak.

No. This dude wants attention and he won't get it at the expense of making it seem people in this movement are bigots. Dude can frick off if he can't figure out a way to feel important without it being at someone else's expense.

He's trained, I get it.

That’s the easy part - when the Rs tied so closely to the hard religious right, it was over. Most of my friends are in 10-30 year relationships of 2 professional guys pulling in multiple 6-figure ma between them (guys 45-60 yrs old, doctors, lawyers business owners, etc.), and fiscally we should have every reason to vote fiscally conservative. It’s the freaking social issues that destroyed the Republicans and now the LGBTs drink the entire leftist Koolaid without question.
If the Right really got behind personal liberty and dropped the social issues,it would be an entirely different ballgame.

I questioned one of my wealthy friends a few years back about his socialist leanings. To summarize, he wants it for everyone else, but not for him.

Hmmm... I read that he's MAGA, but fears/expects disdain from his peers, so keeps it to himself... I'll reread...

Overreaction much?

OP is saying the exact opposite.... Not sure where you got any of this from.

If there's anyone making the "movement" look bad its you and your douche-like overreaction. Holy shite.

I'm with you on not being able to talk about it openly. Here in uber liberal Finland I have to be very careful. In the 4 years I have been here I went from being invited to parties at least once a week to suddenly no longer getting any invites. All because at 1 of the parties I mentioned I was a Trump supporter. My wife no longer gets the invites either.

The first thing Finns do when they meet me is they always ask me who I voted for. I always told them I don't vote absentee because of fear of my vote being changed. 2 years ago I remember this guy tripping on shrooms with breath smelling like literal dog shite and when he asked and I answered he started yelling at me in the bar and security had to kick him out. That was my first run in with the far left.

However, things have changed a lot recently. When they ask me I always say to them, "if I answer this question do you promise not to yell at me and cause a scene?" Amazingly that has worked really well for me. Also I am surprised about the number of people that hear my answer and then say, "shite man, me too, I love the guy, wish he was our president." That always becomes one of those "did we just become best friends?" moments.

Not a ton but enough to know there are a decent silent amount. Frankly, you have to bring it up in a round about manner. It’s actually insane.

Why would it even have occurred to you to make that comparison? Why would it have mattered to have a million gay people in our movement to begin with?

Edit: Downvote if you want. You're part of the problem. Victims need people to give a shite and this world is running out of them. So victims are looking for new frontier to create their own new victimhood status. Oooooooh, it's tough being a gay MAGA OOOOOoooooooh. Newsflash, Welcome but still nobody cares about your preference and it's self-absorbed to believe everyone around you does. Goddamn you fricking people are self-absorbed af.

Fake fricking News. Free yourself from yourself.
