Is that why it’s been interpreted the same way for 150 years?

Trump has made some horrible cabinet hires and at least one troubling Supreme Court pick

Sounds like you want them to be activist judges with a preordained outcome and then bastardizing the law to get there.

Yes, exactly like what the left appoints

I am tired of being saps.

The left wailed and wailed during both their confirmations like they always do.

“They analyzed the facts and the law. They are not beholden to the president or his party. Their oath is to the Constitution. You just don’t like their judgment. America is going to be okay.”

You say this nonsense knowing full well that 3 Democrat justices consistently use DEI and race as deciding votes? Not interpreting the Constitution?

“ Quit whining”

You’re kidding right? Whining or confused over their decision making?
It’s really shocking to see you state that considering your history of bitching on just about every republican as well that Trump breathes air still

Personally as it applies to John Roberts I think it's a personal vendetta towards President Trump. Barret? I'm thinking she's one of those bleeding heart compassionate conservatives Bush I and Bush II was peddling.

IMO all of these SCOTUS deliberations and rulings have been tainted by this profoundly disordered demon called Moral Relativism.

How off the wall has these SCOTUS rulings become derailed? I just read an article singing the praises of former SCOTUS Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Truth be known she was a raging Globalist. Even going so far as to argue that rulings by courts in foreign countries should be part of the deliberations of SCOTUS judges. Globalism.

There's your problem with these liberal and bleeding heart female SCOTUS Judges - A Globalist Mentality fused with Moral Relativism

There I said it.

Justice Kavanaugh provided the solution when he invited Congress to “amend” the 14th "or otherwise enact new legislation” that strips automatic citizenship from the children of “those unlawfully or temporarily in the country.”

Aren't you skipping a few steps to amending the constitution?

Roberts is and has been compromised for his pedo tendencies and ACB was a terrible choice.
not bc of pedo tendencies. Roberts illegally adopted his kids from a foreign nation (ireland i think). Bc he illegally adopted them, he violated child trafficking laws. most importantly, if Ireland were bribed or blackmailed into pressing the issue, the kids could easily be taken from him bc he would not be the legal parent.

Problem with that is all the leftist states along the seas. They will sneak in and do it there. And those states won’t support what you describe.

We know illegal immigration has subsided considerably. Customs and BP agents will be tasked with a more aggressive stance. Of course, we can expect the illegal females here now to start hooking up for the welfare benefits of having a child here. Maybe hospitals can lose federal funding for not providing info regarding illegal alien female pregnancy.

Jerk a few out of the hospital, pregnant with child, fly them back to their country of origin, and see how many other illegals get the message. We are at WAR and WAR is horrible, unfortunately.

History shows us that 1 American is good for about 100 illegals. See the Alamo, the Indian Wars, you could even count Cortez and Rhodesia as honorary Americans. Look at what happened in Venezuela

We set up in an uninhabited place and make it nice and the illegals show up and try to take it from us because we are prosperous and by the time we fight back we are already too outnumbered.

This is dumb. The verdict was effectively 7-2, with Kavanaugh giving Congress a potential out via legislation (vs. an amendment) and Gorsuch dissenting on narrow temporary vs. permanent residence grounds.

The language as written is plain, and while the framers of the 14th could never have envisioned it being abused the way it is today in our welfare state, it's the job of Congress, not the courts, to correct that.

LOLOLOL

they always vote ideology over constitutionality.

it is why the so called right wing justices need to do the same to counter it.

playing by 2 different sets of rules. playing nice with you leftists has never worked out.

ACB is doing her best to be the modern day, Sandra Day O’Connor.

Chief Justice Roberts continues to be GWB’s biggest mistake.

When will Trump wake up and stop appointing women to important positions?

Attractive women. Never. Trump will never stop appointing attractive women to positions of great power. He's a salesman at heart. Attractive men and women have what it takes to be great at sales because people like to talk to them.

Trump thinks that if a woman is very attractive, she is very professional, conservative and very skilled and capable.

It's some kind of mental thing with him and he will never get over it. Maybe a psychologist can explain it.
