2004 was probably the only time I didn't have to hold my nose to vote. Even Trump--who I actually hope wins--doesn't have a consistent view of abortion. It's politically-motivated, not motivated by Scripture.

Ah, I see now. So you'd rather vote for a lying snake who publicly professed to be a Christian, but is actually Satanic in ever sense of the word, more than an honest and transparent man, who stands for conservative Christian values, even if he's not a born again believer?

And you'll not vote for Trump because he's doesn't support a nationwide abortion ban, but you'll essentially be helping Kamala Harris, who actively wants to make late term abortions legal and accessible nationwide.

And you're doing this all while living in one of the crucial swing states that will determine the election?

So you're a hypocrite.

First off that is not even the definition of sin in the Bible, which is comical at this point and Jesus never speaks on politics. We are all given a brain by God to ascertain what to do in a difficult situation. Every Christian wishes we had better options but we don’t, so to suggest that you are somehow taking the moral high ground by not voting at all is nonsensical. The other option will implement policies that will drive whatever religious vestiges are left in the government and society so far away from it that it may not be salvageable.

So the person that has shown he wants to protect your freedoms, even religious. You are willing to sit out knowing the opponent wants to destroy Christianity including making abortion easier than going to Walmart 2 mins prior to birth?

That is beyond sad.

Is that Democrat Christians that don't want to vote for Pro-Abortion advocates? Honestly, I don't know how you can still be a practicing Christian and support the Left at this point.

Maybe now that the abortion debate is at the state level they don’t have to vote

I get that the timing is pretty bad, but at the same time, I don't think it's going to get better in the future. The left is getting more and more brazen with their immorality and each election is going to be the biggest threat to freedom ever.

A non vote for Trump is a vote for Kamala and vice versa. It’s amazing this has to be explained.

For any Christians on here: I know Trump isn’t worthy of any credit as a Christian or a believer. He’s not a good guy.

Sitting this election out WILL help Satan and his forces here on earth. You WILL have to answer for this to our maker just as we all will have to answer for all the bad stuff we have done. Don’t delude yourself into thinking you’re doing the right thing. Help your fellow Christians by removing this scourge from power.

You're slandering me at this point.

I am not "fine" with open borders, rapes, murders, and child grooming and mutilation. I think the Democrat party is essentially the party of Satan at this point.

I just can't continue to vote for someone else who might not be nearly as bad just because the alternative is worse. At some point, I need to remember that God is in control of all things and that my highest allegiance is to Him, not to America, though I do love this country and am saddened by how far gone she is.

This is such BS. By not voting Trump, you are supporting Drag Queens reading and stripping for 6 year olds why the parents look on and clap. You think God will welcome you into his kingdom with that choice Think again, you are worse then the Drag Queens themselves

Foo, I understand where you're coming from, but may I offer some words of wisdom?

The President of the United States is not tasked with leading this country to heaven. That is the job of your pastor and fellow Christians.

I agree that it would be nice if we had a candidate who will espouse Christian ideals and support them through his public works, but that is not even reasonable at this point in time.

Just as the progressives have eroded our Christian principles over time in the public square, it will take time to build them back.

There is clearly one party that supports every evil under the sun. The other is far from perfect but at least represents an opportunity to put a stop to some of the madness.

Trump is a fallen man, as are all of us. He has chosen as his VP, though, someone who by most accounts is pretty forthright. At his age, there is a chance Trump may not live to see the end of his term. That means Vance will become President.

Vance, in my estimation, is a better person than Trump, Harris and Walz combined.

My point is simply this: if you and everyone who thinks like you sits this one out, then our children will suffer beyond our comprehension because of the evils that will be heaped upon them if Harris wins. The situation is that dire, my friend.

Just something to think about.

I think Christians should care about their home and the governance of it. That's why I'm voting for Trump.

I do not think American right vs. left cultural battles are are necessarily Kingdom issues. I do not believe Trump is a Christian, I think he has animosity toward devout Christians because Christianity is a source of loyalty that has a tendency to detract from loyalty to Trump.

I do not think Trump is willing to accept second or third or fourth place prioritization from Christians. I think eventually, if the MAGA movement continues, this "conflict" will loom larger and larger. This thread shows that pretty clearly.

I certainly don't think Foo's justification in Christ is in jeopardy by determining he can't in Christian conscience vote for either option, although that's not the choice I'm making.
