The score won't be based on some illusory difference between Trump and Biden. Trump did bungle the Iran situation badly, but did good work to coalesce the anti-Iran faction. MBS failed massively in his FP moves, with the Qatar situation being the latest in an immense series of frick-ups. And Israel is in a tremendous geopolitical conundrum. What happens next will be based on geopolitical realities, and recognizing failures. Did the maximum pressure campaign work? Is the type of regime change Israel and the KSA want in Iran in the interest of the US, given that the US will be doing the majority of the actual fighting? Arguably, the US is in a worse geopolitical position than it was in 2016.

Of course.

Raytheon Co. Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, was awarded a $205,205,445 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide the land-based Phalanx weapon system to the U.S. Army.

Lloyd Austin pledged to recuse himself for four years from making decisions that involve his current employer Raytheon Technologies should the Senate confirm him as defense secretary.

the land-based version of the CIWS apparently does use an explosive round. That's also a light armor penetrator. That's also a tracer. That's also an incendiary round. That also has a self destruct feature so the rounds don't fall on things downrange.

*any truth to the rumor that the Hunter Biden Ammo Reload Corporation got a no-bid contract on this?

After thinking about this diagram it seems most likely the tracer burn is the ignition for the self destruct sequence and that’s the exploding results we see and not a fuse etc. It’s hard to see if any secondary explosions even occurred.

It sure as frick was. Absolutely, you ignorant wretch. They were choked out and about to tap out.

The ONLY REASON the US is NOW in a worse geopolitical situation is because of a WEAK, FECKLESS, APPEASING loser in the White House right now, who does what his globalist handlers tell him to do.

You obviously have ZERO knowledge of National Security and Foreign Policy. What a bubble dwelling fart sniffer you are.

Never been close to a Phalanx in action but was close up to several M163s that use the same Vulcan gun. The first time was in Panama and I was about 50yds away from one and it let loose and I damn near shite my pants. At that range, it isn't the sound it is the pressure you feel. They were using them to support our ground assault and I pity the frickers that were on the other end of them.
