"Backtracking" on Gas Stoves? I don't think so.

First, anybody recognize the name Trumka?
It's not corrupt at all that Trumka's son is a commissioner for the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Longtime AFL-CIO president and Dems favored union, Richard Trumka now has a son doing the Dems bidding by wanting to get rid of gas stoves.

This article says "backtracking" but there is no backtracking other than Trumka saying they aren't coming for your stoves and that it is for new stoves only.
He also said you could get a $840 rebate for switching to electric from Biden's inflation act.
So this was passed in legislation and is moving forward. This is stupid.

Yes, let's encourage consumer spending to reduce inflation.

Pretty much what I figured...

Remember the eco-flush toilets Clinton pushed through?

They will push their agenda one way or the other... Doesn't matter if it is stoves, firearms, or vehicles...

That was the assumption and problem from jump street.

What they really want is to control whether or not you can cook a meal in your own home. We are under attack.

I will reverse this as President.

Executive Order:
You can own and use gas stoves. You and the tools of free market will determine how you choose to cook your food.
Will sign it on the podium at inauguration. Might go ahead and draft it right now.

Biden administration is the worst administration in the history of this nation.

I wonder if 2nd hand smoke is bad for asthma? Lets ban cigarettes that for the safety of the kids.

All part of the plan.

Used to say “1984” was not intended to be an instruction manual.

Now, same for “Soylent Green”.

No shite. Can you imagine this clown feeling the need to "assuage" the fears of people who thought the Government was going to bust the doors down and remove their stoves? Only reason anyone would think that is because they've acted as if they're fricking capable or interesting in doing so the last few years.

So they ban new stoves and eventually all the old ones wear out so in essence banning new ones is banning them all. Just takes longer to achieve end result

Which is also by design. By the time the consequences of said actions becomes clear, the politicians who enabled it are either out of office or dead.

Okay fine if you have a new house. But what happens when your gas stove goes out on your 20 year old house?

And it will cost you about $3k to run a 220 plug to your new electric stove, assuming you have space in your panel for the breaker.

This has got to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Stoves cause global warming? Jesus.

One of the puff pieces they did on Dr. Jill about a year ago showed her cooking something on a gas stove. There will still be gas stoves just not for the plebs.
