I just showed someone this photo who has only heard that there was a shooting incident in Austin, nothing more.
I asked, "Is this person holding a weapon?"
They replied, "I don't know, maybe? His arm is cocked back but it's hard to tell from that photo."
I then asked, "If it's a weapon, what kind of weapon is it?"
They replied, "Pistol."
I asked, "Is this person holding a weapon?"

Non-aggression principle. A true libertarian would understand that approaching someone with a brandished weapon as his car is being surrounded by a mob entitles him to defend his life and his property.

Oh, you're serious. Look at a pic of him holding the AK47. Then look at the pic in the thread. You can see the stock shading the face of the white guy behind him.

Why was he approaching a vehicle with an AK?

Based on the circumstances, that was the right call.
A mob surrounded the car, a guy with a readied AK approached the car, it is believed the AK was fired at the car, driver returns fire, leaves, finds police away from protest.
They could have charged him if the DA was an idiot like in Atlanta, but this guy would have walked under the Castle Doctrine given that he was in his vehicle and threatened.

This was a huge misstep for her, as at best this guy approached a vehicle under seige in low ready position.
She's panderded a couple of times to the BLM crowd and I don't get it, they are basically Marxist at this point. I agree with Eric July, we need libertarians who actually run on the principles alone and don't try to co-opt other parties platforms.
