I like how they interrupt his day, and then after they check his cup basically tell him to bug off and get on his way.

The black community is doing great the last year with defund the police. No spike in crime in the black community at all. Stop and frisk to prevent murderers and show me your COVID paper while walking in a park or being arrested for leaving your house aren’t close to the same thing.

I knew a couple of Aussie cops in my time there, and via them acquaintances with a few others. I never could quite put my finger on what it was exactly, but the cops there are just.....different. It’s hard to describe, but they were just different from our police. This was twenty years ago. It does not really surprise me they are acting the way they are now.

To be honest, With the general population, I am a bit shocked and disappointed in their compliance. I found the Aussies to be a bit more vocal about their politics, and generally feel that all politicians are frickstick wankers, and will say so. The fact that there was not more defiance with all of this surprised me.

Then again, we may not be getting the whole picture here. The most extreme examples seem to be confined to the urban areas, in particular Melbourne and Sydney. In my conversations with my father in law, who lives in rural New South Wales, things are not nearly so crazy. The way he has described things in his area, it’s no worse than Louisiana has been imo.
