Dunno. I don't look at twitter unless it's for shite like this.
I think he's like Sentrius here. Likes to bitch and make snarky comments about Trump as he doesn't do exactly as he would, but not likely to vote for Biden.

There’s a page of a Batman comic that applies here.
During the No Man’s Land arc where Gotham is cut off from the rest of the world, people try to show their skills to be taken in by groups.
Seamstress? Kept around to mend clothes.
Mechanic? Kept around to fix bikes.
Social worker? Killed and left at the border as a warning to keep out.

Zone 6 is a mix of shithole, gentrified hipster havens, bohemian wannabe hippies, and grand old homes.
So burn everything but the grand old homes.

The town I used to live in they did private security gigs in uniform. But that was in the same city. Out of uniform wherever they wanted. They made good money.

I bet the Georgia Baws will come see antifa soon.

The cops have actually loaded that precinct with explosives ready to remote detonate at just the right time.

Was the COA gonna deputize these guys just to get "help" for a night? You cannot arbitrarily "loan out" LEO's from on jurisdiction to another
A) they already have arrest powers in the entire state.
B) yes you can do that. LEOs go all the time at the request of other jurisdictions and provide manpower assistance . Happens all the time in smaller jurisdictions where big events occur too big for the jurisdiction to handle
Now what I do doubt is they could cover call because of communications and lack of familiarity. But it’s easily within reason they could use them to fill a void elsewhere or double up with an APD Officer

Of course they do security gigs. Are you trying to tell me these cops rented themselves out as LEO's for another police
dept in another jurisdiction?

Looks like tonight is NOT the night though.

Not that I know of, but this could have easily been a request in a private capacity. They weren’t being ordered to go. They were offered a lot of money. Especially in this type of situation.

No, agency head lines it up with the other agency head. I need x amount of deputies, my county will reimburse your county. Again happens regularly RD. I can provide all kinds of examples but TBH I’m exhausted

LEOs from suburban counties and towns were sent to Atlanta repeatedly during the last few weeks until those counties pulled them out following the arrests of the cops for tasing the people in the car.

They need to load it with fentanyl.

This wasn't an emergency or any type of an event like the Olympics and it doesn't happen "all the time" with a big city jurisdiction. You're telling me the COA offered "big money?"
Why in the world is the COA call on smaller jursdiction when they could call on the Fulton County PD or any number of smaller jurisdictions in Fulton County or DeKalb or Clayton.
Post what was on social media.

As has been stated numerous times, including right up there ^, the neighboring departments told APD to pound sand after the DA and mayor went after the cops that tazed some punks that resisted arrest by fleeing and refusing to exit their car.
