At some point, the reality and seriousness of where we are headed is sinking in

And the flippant responses/posts on this message board are going to make us all look like dumbasses
Think about this for a few seconds.
IF the right on this board is correct, then we will truly be suffering in the future, we knew it, and did nothing but post about it.
No food on the table
Global war
Crashed dollar
Jobless
Truly Tyrannical government
If these things really come to pass, it’s on us. Period. Because we knew and all we ever did was talk about it to pass the time.
On the other hand, if we are wrong (and I don’t think we are), we’ll look like drama queens.
Think about this for a few seconds.

It wouldn’t be very surprising to me to see price controls as the dollar continues its path to zero followed by shortages and reductions in quality like we’ve never seen, followed by bloodshed and balkanization.
So yeah, either that forecast is somewhat in the ballpark or I’m a drama queen. Not much middle ground.
Peaceful balkanization or God forbid a few decades of responsible leadership is definitely a nice dream to strive for though.

I understand your point, but if we're right, what else can we actually do other than discuss ways of getting this message out there so that a larger group of people actually understand what's going on and will be in better positions to stop it?
I always look at this place as somewhere to hone arguments or crystalize thoughts so that they can spread.
I mean, if we're right and groups like the WEF are actually doing what they're saying they are doing, it's not like we can walk to Davos and shut it down today.

We have kicked this can down the road for decades and it may be time for the correction. How many times did we raise the debt ceiling? The federal reserve has no more trump cards to play to revive our economy which has been financed by debt.
