NYC is well within it's rights as long as it doesn't infringe on things like freedom of speech or whatever.
In a republic, these things are and should be allowed. Not on a federal level, not even on a state level really, but on a city/local level - let them frick up.
I'm not going to pay the consequences of their mistakes. I live in Florida. My local government is overall pretty good. Nobody here wants this crap in any large numbers.
And when it's all said and done, everyone can point and say - see, that's why you don't do that shite.
Besides - are these shite hole cities really all that far from what he represents now? Let's put the proper names on it.

Of all places to vote in a creaton like Mamdani, NYC after 9/11... wild.
Too many young voters not around for 9/11 and the boomer hippies that are more miserable now than in the 60's.

This is their own creation. This is the result of their very own tireless gaslighting and propaganda. This is the outcome of their diversity push. Their “fairness” and “equality” initiatives.
Their stooges in the media spread their words and covered for them the entire way.
Now they are worried? Why???? This guy is everything they claim they are for. This guy is the current “progressive” that they have dreamed about for decades.
Why on earth are they disturbed??

They will point to 1 or 2 marginally "successful" policies as wins and ignore the bad. This is just getting started. I think its a dark day for our country.
