Only conservative Evangelicals and Catholics have theologians who think life begins at conception.
In Exodus, the penalty for making a female miscarry was a fine levied by the father for the child that miscarried. If you killed a pregnant female, you paid with your life. It was clear the life of a born person was valued above the life of a fetus.
My personal belief is that abortion in the first trimester is a decision to be made the woman carrying the fetus. And over 91% of abortions in the US are occur in the first trimester.

This is a good insight. If a candidate for city court judge or mayor or school board runs on an anti abortion platform, they aren’t actually speaking to anything relevant to the office. Abortion has been used as a political campaign issue to manipulate gullible voters for many years.
