He said that Hegseth's removal of senior leadership was harming the force and making it impossible to do his job.

Does he think the military should be a social engineering experiment? Or something else?

You can acknowledge that Hegseth isn’t good at his job, while also acknowledging that Buttigieg would be bad as well.

The last administration had trouble making expectations. You be the judge.

There just weren't enough trannies and furies to fill the ranks when dems were in charge.

frick if I know. Nor does anyone else. My question is why does anyone give a shite. It's not like there aren't plenty of more people ready to step into these guys' shoes. None of these people using this information to disparage Trump and/or Hegseth give a single frick about any of this other than to try to use it to justify their hatred of the bad orange man.

The Army is just fine and will be just fine despite these guys resigning.

But they respected Biden?

The ultimate in cult speak.

The Branch Davidians likely knew that David Koresh was a bad leader who was molesting their children but they still followed his command to be burned alive because, to the cult, just imagine how bad it would be if they had different leadership.

The Peoples Temple followers knew that drinking poisoned KoolAide was a bad idea, but they decided to so what Jim Jones said because they decided that other leadership would be worse.

The Heaven's Gate members probably knew that Marshall Applewhite was a kook when he instructed them to chop off their own junk and drink poison to travel with a comet, but imagine how bad things would be with different leadership.

When the leadership of your organization is bad, do not accept it because the alternative (leaving the cult) is unimaginable. Instead, when the leadership is bad, change the leadership, fix the actual problem.

When you have to justify bad leadership doing dumb or corrupt things by reference to a fantasy about people who are not the leaders and how it would always be worse to call the leaders to account, you are a cult.

I see DU has taken over this thread. Driscoll was said to be upset at Removing Generals. Idiot.

Does your retarded arse realize that this is happening precisely because Hegseth was changing leadership positions within the Army?

You are consistently one of the stupidest posters I've seen not only on this board, but around the internet in general.

As the secretary of the Army, Driscoll was involved in modernizing the Army's technology, particularly drones.

Doesn't have much of a resume prior to his appointment as Secretary of the Army.

A lot more detail would be interesting.

Wasn't drones accorded to Grok:

quote:

Pete Hegseth (U.S. Secretary of Defense / “Secretary of War”) views drones—particularly small, low-cost, expendable unmanned aerial systems (UAS/sUAS)—as the most consequential battlefield innovation of this generation and a top priority for the U.S. military.

breakingdefense.com

He has repeatedly emphasized that modern conflicts (e.g., Ukraine, the Middle East) show massed, affordable, attritable (expendable) drones are transforming warfare. Adversaries produce millions of cheap drones annually, while the U.S. previously lagged due to bureaucratic “red tape.” He argues U.S. units must be outfitted with lethal small drones (such as first-person-view/FPV and one-way attack/kamikaze types) that the modern battlefield requires, treating them more like consumable munitions than high-end aircraft.

It’s undeniable that there’s been a lot of high end brass turnover since the beginning of this year. Some are probably Biden/Obama holdovers, but some are not.

I believe the vast majority of military personnel would take Trump over Kamala all day. From what I understand, that number diminishes drastically relative to support of Pete.

I’d bet greater than 50% of the rank and file military think this Iran War is not needed nor wanted.
