No, but I would like enough time to see the OT thread spinning the incoming nukes as a good thing

Agreed. And I sincerely believe that when humans focus their energy on a particular outcome, that outcome is often manifested. It makes me wonder how much better the world would be if people devoted their energy to considering and preparing for positive outcomes instead of gleefully hoping for horrible things to happen.

You’d be a fool not to be a little apprehensive of the thought. We are not poking the camel jockeys into a fight but a nuclear armed once super power that has a leader with balls.

Agreed. This is nothing more than everyone trying to gain the upper hand in leverage before the inevitable negotiations in the coming months.

I don't want WWIII... but if it happens and nukes are used, I just hope they are thorough and obliterate all of humanity in short-time, so we are not stuck living in some post apocalyptic, nuclear holocaust hellscape, dying slowly and painfully from radiation poisoning... and starvation etc. frick that.

I have a 20 year old son. So, yes.
And I have two granddaughters younger than that. I remember having drills when in elementary school during Cuban Missile Crisis, we would hide under our desk. How silly was that? Those were long and drawn out negotiations. I’m not sure what it would take to reach that point but I don’t really fear and all attack without a whole lot more provocation. If he were to use a tactical nuke aimed at Ukraine I’m not sure that provoke an all out response. So, it’s been in the back of my for many years and you really don’t know MIC is willing to risk but I don’t think all out nuclear is on their agenda. I’m hopeful that this works its way through until 47.

Putin doesn’t want to die. He’s a despot, sure, but he knows starting a nuclear war with US and A equates to the end of Mother Russia and him.

I'm like a cockroach and will survive anything, but if I have a fear it is for my sons.

Anyone who says they don’t fear war is lieing. I don’t fear death anymore because of relationship I have with a living God. But I do fear it for my children. Anyone who says they don’t are just keyboard warriors who have never seen war.

Nowhere in scripture does it talk about a nuclear holocaust. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

No. Not at all. I just want it to happen while I'm healthy enough to be of benefit.

People love to post the total warships on the internet leaving the tonnage part out. How many of the top 3 in warships just have a lot of boats that are similar to PT boats?

Probably plenty which is why I included both

I remember my dad telling me about the bomb drills they would do in New Orleans schools in the 1950s. They would crawl under their desks to take cover, or use sturdy books to cover their heads. Scared the hell out of my dad and many other kids. Can’t imagine that feeling going to school.

There would be rampant speculation on how a nuclear holocaust would affect the price of crawfish.

I say again. Sadly, I have more faith in Putin's level head than our present Marxists administration
