1. It started 30 years ago. 40 years ago was global cooling.

2. I did my research primarily at the govt depository of federal documents at La. Tech. That was the only place near Shreveport with one.
It's in the basement.

3. I have forgotten more about GW indict wars than you will ever know. Now, run along and look up Idso and agriculture.

And then you will ask for another...and another. I did my research and I'm not doing it again for you.

I've already given you two places to start... Albedo Effect and Idso. Do a google on each. AE is pro GW... multiplier; Idso is also pro GW but opposite effect... Agric.

I've never heard of an eagle running into car. Do you have a pic?
Bald eagle mortality rates due to vehicular collisions in Michigan have risen in the last six years, accounting for 222 out of 774, or 29 percent, of recorded eagle mortalities between 1987 and 2008.
Just because you've never heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. That's 222 car-related eagle deaths just in Michigan. Now link me to some wind turbine eagle death statistics.

I just find it ridiculously amusing that this board thinks the majority of the scientific community is either corrupt and out to scam them or not smart enough to see the catch on to how it's all a bullshite.
Feel free to discuss the science, oklahogjr.

Nonetheless, here's a bone:
It was colder last night in Chicago than it was at the South Pole. Flipped around for the warmists, the South Pole has warmed to the point it's hotter than Chicago.

Just a little talking point help for AGW'ers in this tread.

You realize this was way overblown in the media at the time, and that even back then the consensus among scientists was that the climate was in a warming trend, right?

How sad that Eagles in Michigan have to eat road kill. Or perhaps people in Michigan shoot them and the cops are too lazy to pursue the perps.
I've got eagles at my place. They never come near the street. They mostly eat fish. Dive bombing. Very cool to watch.

You're just like Vegas. An emoticon is not a refutation. There are NO side effects to burning FF unless you light a fire in your house and you die.

1. Yes, it was overblown in the media.

2. There was no consensus among scientists about warming back then. The warming idea was much later.

No eagles, but I have been hit by owls three times - two on one trip (assuming that the same owl that bombed me in Little Rock didn't recover and chase me down to get me again in Louisiana.

A couple of years later, an owl dive-bombed that same car.

It was a 1960 Ford Galaxy and they had glowing circular protuberances on each front fender. The owls could not resist that.

Well there certainly wasn't any consensus about cooling either

No matter how many times someone posts a picture of a Time magazine cover.

I've discussed it plenty on here. Just thought i'd point how ridiculous that sounds.

So you are just going to ignore the fact that over 200 eagle deaths out of almost 800 were related to cars, in just one state, and then

link me to exactly what I thought you'd find, which is around 100 wind turbine related eagle deaths in 10 states total. Is this really the point you are trying to make? That we would need on the order of 10 times as many wind turbines as we have now to even approach the death rate seen from vehicles? Is that your case against wind farms? I'm just making sure.

Increased CO2 is a side-effect. You can dispute the effect on climate, but you can't dispute that simple fact. And oil spills are not exactly rare (those kill birds too, you know). Side effect. Burning ANYTHING pollutes the air and creates health concerns. Side effect.

Come on, man, don't play dumb.

No, I'm not going to ignore it. I'm going to question it's accuracy. Can you read?

Wind turbines are just getting started. This is a very small time frame for Eagle deaths in the last four years.

BTW, do you know how to make a quote? You don't need to use marks. Look to the right side of the Markup box, lower right hand and press the 'quote' button.

No, it's not. I just disputed it. Saying it's a simple fact is not an argument.

I'm not playing dumb. I know the truth and the truth will be born out. There will be a time when people look back on this day and say "Wow, people actually bought that global warming shite?"

Uh, why are you linking to an argument I already agreed with? Beginning to think you're a bit slow.

Everything is fine here, except that I can't get the LSU - Tenn. BB game on ESPN. Was looking forward to it. ESPN is doing pre game CFB.
