Just because you fancy yourself a journalist doesn’t mean you can trespass into a house of worship, shout down a religious service, and start scaring the shite out of kids. Those folks have rights too…. The right to religious expression, speech, private property rights, etc.

Don Lemon does not have press credentials as he is no longer a CNN anchor. He was stripped of his press credentials by all major U.S. journalism certification organizations, which means he is no longer recognized as a journalist by these bodies.
Imagine what his defenders would say if a white guy did this in a black church. It all depends on what fits the narrative. I think anybody and I mean anybody liberal, conservative, black, white it does not matter, If you interfere with people worshiping God in their own church and threaten, intimidate, or interrupt that service to prevent said worship, which is exactly what happened here. Quoting my long since deceased grandmother "they should be thrown under the jail" Many an American soldier has died to protect our right to freedom of religion??

I’m not sure Don Lemon was ever actually a journalist. He was just a guy on tv that opined on current events.
What he was there doing was not journalism, he was clearly aligned with the group he was with, holding up a camera and “reporting” audibly during a church service.

I believe all who entered to protest in a church needs to sit for some time.
Religion is protected, so stay off the lawn.

He recorded the event in it's planning, feigning concern he will give the operation away (wearing a toboggan with 'LeMon' on it -- he took that one off), saying they'll know because its, the 'well, known, articulate, black fig who wears glasses now'.
He intentionally had the camera (and mic) turned away so the name of the Church wouldn't be leaked on his live stream, and notifying them what was up.
He is not unlike someone calling themselves 'journalist' interviewing tellers while a bank was robbed.
My personal favorite was when he said afterward... "I think MAGA coded" ... referring to a patient in a medical setting experienced a cardiac or respiratory arrest, requiring immediate, life-saving intervention

The only thing that gives me pause is the first two judges said there was no evidence a law was broken.
For me and you, this would have ended at one judge saying no. This is pretty clearly political.
That doesn’t mean he’s innocent and this will play out, but it does mean it’s political.
