Fixed it for you. Commas go inside closing quotation marks.

In Kentucky, there are far more registered Dems than Republicans, but we're as conservative as it gets. Only our Governor is a Dem in terms of top office. Republican Supermajority in both houses. It’s all about the candidate.
I’ve been a Democrat since I was 18 and I feel no need to switch parties. I’ve never voted a straight ticket in my life. I voted Gore in 2000 but I was more liberal back then.
I always will vote for who I want. I tend to vote Republican in the big races and sometimes I vote Dem in state or local races.

The class warfare, pandering and fear mongering are driving centrists to either not vote or vote trump because of the economy
Just like a lot of moderate Republicans didn’t vote in 2012 because we felt it was hopeless

The majority of independents and moderates I know are all socially liberal and fiscally conservative.

Sky high Economy and so much winning

The shy high economy is at the expense of trillion dollar deficits.
Of course a tax cut in an already expanding economy is going to produce a short term boost to the economy.
Tell me, what happened to Trump's campaign talk about infrastructure. We got an ill-timed tax cut instead.
You call that winning?

I think you’d be surprised. The democratic party has changed a lot in a very short amount of time.
Do you think that change was, to a marked degree, a response to the change of the Republican Party into the Party of Trump?

You fricking dumbshit, Trump has been wanting to do something on infrastructure for years and the democrats are terrified of giving him a "win" so they do nothing.
As for the deficits, whatever the delta is comes from obama letting the military rot for 8 years. If you perform no upkeep on your house for 8 years then sell it the next guy is going to have "deficits" fixing what you did not do.

And he had both houses early on. Nothing was done.
He is supposed to know how to make deals.

That is laughable.

That didn’t happen. It is asinine to pretend this.

600 billion is no upkeep.

I've never understood how a small government conservative could be anything but socially liberal.
I would vote for anyone standing up and pointing out how absurd it is to be running a huge budget deficit and lowering Fed rates during a period of economic expansion. Unfortunately, I don't see anyone running who is actually concerned about the federal government strangling economic growth in the future through its irresponsible fiscal policies.

I'm one.
Socially to the left, and fiscally more to the right. I seem to put more weight on social issues, as those affect my life more directly.
I voted for GWB & Obama. Didn't vote in the last election as I was out of the country.

I think second amendment, abortion, marijuana legalization and gay marriage is where you separate the ultra right vs the ultra left. At least for the most part.
Second amendment is and always will be the deciding factor, I'm pro there. I WILL vote against gun control advocates, no matter what else.
I morally oppose abortion, but think early term pro choice is not an awful position... but that's like first couple weeks. Late term is shocking to me that anyone could consider or allow it. My opinion over the years has swung from Pro Choice legally, to tending to be Pro Life, because they have pushed it way too far. I'm a guy, my initial stance was "I'm not the pregnant person, it isn't my call".
Marijuana, to me, is a non-issue. I think the anti-plant regulations are way overdone, hemp can be a useful tool and medical should be allowed. I'm not really sympathetic to people who just want to get high.
Gay marriage, again, not overly concerned about. I do have some sympathy regarding long-term partners, I'd think if 2 people live together a long time and one dies or whatever, the other one should get some form of property protection (just like normal marriages).
When I registered decades ago, none of these, including gun rights, was in play. It was more that the Republicans were leaning Religious Right, and there were hints of mandated morality in their platform; as a kid that bothered me. I didn't need the law to regulate my morality or beliefs.
I'm generally always going to oppose any side wanting to take away any rights. They're in office to run the business end of politics, not to dictate what I may or may not be allowed to do.

I used to be pretty hardcore lefty on many issues. I’d mostly vote Dem, but often I’d vote 3rd party. Rarely did I ever vote GOP.
I used to be pretty far right. As I've gotten a little older I've found myself more of a moderate on social issues.
I'm still solidly right on fiscal issues. I vote for Republicans though. The modern Democratic party is bat shite insane. The blue dog Dems are a thing of the past.

Rightfully so. There’s more gray than black and white when it comes to issues.
