I frequently hear Gen X, Y, Z and millenials blame Boomers for everything that's wrong in the world which as a blanket statement is absurd but they're not completely wrong either.

Let's make it simple. If you're a Boomer you were part of the first big wave of progressive indoctrination. Every Boomer accepted some level of progressive indoctrination but some of us over a period of time rejected the indoctrination. Why? Because we had Depression era Greatest Generation parents who took us to Church services and taught us God, family and country were the proper order for the building of a great nation. We began to realize the filth and trash that was being touted as moving forward and progressing as a society was BS. The only true progress that came from the 60's was civil rights legislation and that legislation had it's origins in the Republican Party. Dims will argue and say Johnson is the president that signed the legislation but the Dims were not the party who started the push for civil rights.

So if you want to blame the woes of the country on Boomers be more specific and honest. It's the progressive/liberal portion of the Boomer generation who would proudly take the blame for today's political and social unrest because +90% of those Boomers have not uttered one word against the Dim Marxist who looted, rioted and destroyed property and lives to further their Marxist ideology. Most of those Dim Marxists will be voting for Joe Biden.

No doubt Boomers should shoulder the lion's share of this disaster but I do believe their are some older Gen X (my generation) who raised some of these Antifa/BLM pukes.

This. If your child is between the ages of 22 and 28, you are the problem.

This commentary is as dumb as it gets.

Eh. I blame much earlier generations who performed so poorly in the realm of racial equality that this sort of outcome was always a possibility.

Their biggest fault was that they raised shitty kids who grew into shitty adults, and then raised their own shitty kids.

I would say most people that were alive when Wilson and FDR were President have gone on.

Its either Boomers or Millennials - GenX is just trying to get some work done.

I'm an older Gen Xer, but I have 11 y/os who are growing up conservative. I've taught them to never depend on government for anything, and to always be prepared to take care of yourself when you get to be an adult.

Their parents are to blame. Boomers parents were absolutely shitty. I know most of you fawn over them bc they were "the greatest generation", but they really sucked as parents.

Progressive indoctrination and an almost complete abdication of parental duties. My generation is still overcoming the mistakes of our parents. Hell my wife and I are both having to “reraise” our Parents!

its hard for me to blame certain generations. if I blamed boomers, then I could blame their parents.

the absolute broke-dick parents that raised these non-contributing karens arent all boomers.

i am going with blaming the promulgators of socialism since the late 1800's. they were persistent then, and they will not stop now, as you can see.
the allure of promising people free stuff is too easy to ascend to powerful positions.

i think of myself back when i was in college. had I been privy to prog-filth professors and could not find a job so easily, i suppose i could have thought the deck was stacked against me and gone all SJW.....slim chance, but that is a real outcome today.

that's really the culprit.

BS. Boomers are majority conservatives. If you want to blame generations you can start with the younger folks and end there.

I thinks it's mostly greedy POS career politicians. You got something like 3 generations of pure politicians that have corrupted everything they can get their hands on.

I'm last year Boomer, first year Gen X depending upon which years you look at. I have two children 26 and 23. Both are God fearing Christians, whom I couldn't be more proud of.

My daughter is an ICU nurse at DFW's largest public hospital and treats COVID patients every day she goes to work.

My son is in Grad school at UofH in Geology. His A&M undergrad and grad research is for NASA and hopes to work for them upon graduation.

As a whole you can blame the "participation trophy" crowd/generation, but there are some of us who IMO raised our kids with traditional values.

Things like abortion, pornography, no prayer in schools, mass divorces and broken homes all came about while boomers still controlled the levers of power.

All these statues and cities being destroyed are because they abandoned the cities their fathers built for soulless sub-divisions. They fled because they couldn’t face an effort not even a tenth as difficult as the one faced by the men who rebuilt these cities out of reconstruction. Now they are sitting in their retirement condos watching Fox News getting mad at what people are doing to the things they themselves threw in the trash long ago.

Make cuts to SS and we’ll see how “conservative” the Boomers really are.

Yes. A large portion of them rejected decency, morality and the like in the '60s and '70s and they passed that affliction on. It's the boomers that undermined higher education and spread Marxist bullshite. Millennials are chips off the old block.
