THEIR money was spent by the Greatest Generation. It's why they need MY money for THEIR welfare checks.

quote: I frequently hear Gen X, Y, Z and millenials blame Boomers for everything that's wrong in the world which as a blanket statement is absurd but they're not completely wrong either. Let's make it simple. If you're a Boomer you were part of the first big wave of progressive indoctrination. Every Boomer accepted some level of progressive indoctrination but some of us over a period of time rejected the indoctrination. Why? Because we had Depression era Greatest Generation parents who took us to Church services and taught us God, family and country were the proper order for the building of a great nation. We began to realize the filth and trash that was being touted as moving forward and progressing as a society was BS. The only true progress that came from the 60's was civil rights legislation and that legislation had it's origins in the Republican Party. Dims will argue and say Johnson is the president that signed the legislation but the Dims were not the party who started the push for civil rights. So if you want to blame the woes of the country on Boomers be more specific and honest. It's the progressive/liberal portion of the Boomer generation who would proudly take the blame for today's political and social unrest because +90% of those Boomers have not uttered one word against the Dim Marxist who looted, rioted and destroyed property and lives to further their Marxist ideology. Most of those Dim Marxists will be voting for Joe Biden.

This commentary is as dumb as it gets.

Not my best effort but your comment is indicative of laziness and the inability to refute the dumb commentary.....maybe you're the one that's dumb.

I love the personal anecdote approach to debates. "I didn't do it so that must mean NO ONE did."

Obviously no one is saying literally every Boomer to ever raise a child failed their kids. I'm Gen Y and am the product of a great Gen X parenting partnership, that doesn't mean I can't fully acknowledge the huge chunk of my generation raised by deadbeat Gen X parents.

It's very obvious parenting has been an issue for multiple generations. Good parents don't raise a generation full of Marxists that hate the country that gave them everything they have.

We certainly agree the enlightened European academics flooded into our universities in the early 1900's but it still took awhile to get the majority of college professors and later public educators K-12 to be a majority leftists. I remember the distinct change in curriculum from the 60's through the 70's and it's only gotten worse the past 30-40 years.

Do the milenials acknowledge they're spoiled brats? Either they do and they like it or they do and want to blame someone for their position in life rather than taking personal responsibility to make a positive change.

Progressive indoctrination and an almost complete abdication of parental duties. My generation is still overcoming the mistakes of our parents. Hell my wife and I are both having to “reraise” our Parents!

I was an old school Democrat that was subjected to all the progress BS but at some point you either pause, reassess the destructive nature of the Dim Marxist ideology and change direction or you continue along the path of destruction. I think my generation, the Boomers are a good case study in the early attempt at mass mind control, some of us rejected the madness and others have succumbed to it.

I would agree that now a majority of Boomers are conservative but it's been a process of rejecting the ever increasing radical leftist influence that's taking over the Dim party. So yes, more and more Boomers are waking up but a lot of damage has been done over the years by Boomers voting for progressive BS.

Let's make it simpler than that. No we weren't. Our parents were.

Learn a little bit about our nation's history before coming here with your ignorant conclusions.

Take responsibility for who you are. You are an adult and are responsible for your own actions.

Millenials and Gen Z are educated enough to know better than to blame anyone other than themselves for the consequences of their own actions.

I’m a tail end boomer who doesn’t feel attraction to boomers.

Actually goes to the parents of the “Greatest Generation”. I guess the “Geat War Generation” who accepted FDR’s freeshite give always that just prolonged the agony and recovery of the Great Depression much like Obama’s bullshite!

WW2 ended the Depression and world destruction gave America a two plus decades long no competition honeymoon.

But each subsequent generation became more and more selfish. They thrust the care of their children and parents more and more to the government resulting in this current socialism is good / safe space fantasy land.

Your effort is sophomoric, and typical of today’s thinking.
You see a problem and try and blame one group, or another for the problem. You are the one being lazy.

The fact of the matter that every generation is diverse, and that you can’t label everyone of that generation as being of one thought, one belief or one type of character. Blaming boomers for today’s issues as if the actual people testing this country apart have no independent thought or that they have no responsibilities for their actions is stupid. It’s just more of the notion that it’s always someone else’s fault.
