I'm sorry but what exactly does this mean? The Court Spokesman could not confirm OR deny her attendance at being at work? I'm awfully confused here as to what this statement means.

The justices will take the bench again on Tuesday. While Ginsburg is expected to sit for oral arguments, the court spokeswoman would not confirm her presence.
In context, this seems to be attempting to convey that RBG was present today, but that the court spokeswoman cannot say in advance whether RBG will be present again next Tuesday.

Not only did she attend, she arrived 5 hours before everyone else, never emerged from her chambers studying upcoming cases, and plans to leave 5 hours after everyone else.
